West Brom boss Tony Mowbray wants the club to shed their reputation for bouncing between the top two divisions. Albion have been promoted to the Premier League for the third time in six years, and Mowbray is eager to keep his side in the division. "One of the biggest things for me is that we're not going back into this league to play the same teams again," Mowbray told the club website. "We've got to try to grasp the opportunity and relish the challenge." The longest Albion have last in the Premier League since it was formed is two seasons, but the manager is keen to make a better fist of things this time round. "That's got to be the challenge, to try to cement ourselves as a Premier League club and lose this tag of a club who have been up and down three times in six years. "The Premier League's sheer nature means every weekend is a huge fixture. Any game you win is a huge achievement." Meanwhile, the Baggies are reporting record demand for season tickets. They have already sold nearly 20,000 season tickets, and all 5,000 available to new applicants have gone. More than 1,100 supporters are now on a waiting list and the club record for sales is certain to be broken. |
