With the great uptake of season tickets it has been decided to have one more week to sell season tickets. It is also hoped on the back of new signings we will sell a few more.

Maybe 16,000 may now be sold? :)

Aye, hopefully we will beat Bradford cos if they sell 9,000 they will give each season ticket holder another one for free. The way they "rig" the gates, they may be averaging nearly 19,000 next season! :o

From the Rovers forum

Just realised Rovers were playing Huddersfield Town at Wembley Stadium 13 years ago today.

It was on 28th May 1995, before a crowd of 59,175, the second highest, after the FA Cup-tie at Newcastle in February 1951, to watch a Rovers game, the club made their second Wembley appearance in its history. Behind to an Huddersfield's Andy Booth goal, Marcus Stewart’s equaliser just seconds before half-time offered renewed hope. Stewart also hit the bar with a 35-yard shot and Andy Gurney hit his own crossbar while Gareth Taylor missed an open goal, but it was Chris Billy’s diving header which brought Huddersfield victory.

It was a good day out spoilt by the result and that remarkable Gareth Taylor miss.

I remember it well :( :( :( :(
