You would think Tranmere would do better to keep hold of League Ones leading assist maker.

Hudds examiner says a deal could be back on and supposedly you are going to get a striker and Beckett is one of about 3 options. Im guessing you will have him if you can agree terms and you dont want to pay over the odds. Beckett is on too much of a wage, shame hes got a year left on his contract really, it would be better for everyone if he was a free transfer.

Given that City are paying to sign Beckett, I would have rather spent that money on Jon Shaw. He won't command a large wage and Halifax need the money more. Missing the following players: Keeper Right Back (Racchi) Centre Midfielder Striker (Shaw)

They offered me a deal and we haggled a bit but I just felt it was the right time to have a fresh challenge. "I've been there two years, finished just above mid-table both times and I wanted something new. I hope they do go higher because there are good people there but, in my eyes, I thought it was time for a change."

Don't rate Darlo's chances that highly 3 signings last week : Adam Griffin David Poole Adam Proudlock All Stockport reserves last season. First 2 aren't going to set League 2 alight. Proudlock could do but he's unlikely to be fit enough to manage many full games.

Dont get me wrong I think Bradford have a good chance, but generally punters in the lower leagues place bets on their own teams. Therefore the the teams with a good support generally have shorter odds.

With Peter Jackson back at the helm they look a good each way bet
