Ex Stockport County striker has joined the terriers for an initial 1 month period. It will probably get extended though. Dickinson is the 10th new player to join Hudds this summer. Our squad of strikers now has: Liam Dickinson Danny Cadamarteri Keigan Parker Andy Booth Phil Jevons Tom Denton Luke Beckett Daniel Broadbent |

I think he will do well for you if he gets a game. Although not sure how his confidence will be after being bought by Derby never played a game for them and to get told actually im sending you out on loan! Anyway i wish him well he did a lot for us for someone of hardly any experience when he first joined us. |

Also i heard you have another ex county player on trial with you Jamie Smith. In the end we couldnt agree contract terms with him so he was let go. I found him great at the start when he was on loan for us but didnt do much afterwards. |

Good bit of business by Paul Jewell. Buy a player for £ 500 K + and never play him. Luke Beckett could well be available then ? Stockport are desperately short of strikers, Beckett could do a job for us |

Huddersfield fans in the large want rid of Beckett. He is actually available as we let him talk to a few clubs in the summer. You could probably get him for £50k... Dickinson will hopefully start on Saturday though we have a large squad. Cadamarteri looks the first choice starter with Boothy alongside him. After that Parker and Beckett have been playing bit parts and Jevons seems totally out of favour currently (not even making the bench). Just shows wwe have a lot of competition for places when a 15-20+ goals a season man for L1 isnt currently getting in the squad. We will take time to gel though. Hopefully in the meantime we will stay in promotion contention. Smith is playing for our reserves tonight, we need a back up right back so thats where he will probably play tonight. Cant see him starting ahead of Holdsworth though as a regualr right back. If we sign him though, he would be the 11th person to sign for us this summer!! :o |

We're probably looking for loans and free transfers now. I'd expect you'd be glad to have Beckett off the wage bill if he's not likely to play many games ? Doubt we'd go for him though. Jim Gannon never signs players in their 30s |

Yeah, we just want him off our wage bill really. With as many strikers on the books as we have, we dont really need him here. |
