Nathan had slipped Lucas a text message saying he wanted to meet up finally. It has been awhile since he had hung out with his best bud and he missed him. Not in a funny way but Lucas and Nathan used to be tight. Then they got girlfriends, so there was a lot to catch up on. Plus he had to talk to him about his plan for Ash anyway. And he wanted to know how things were going with his sister and him as well. He sat at a table near the back, and had already two big pitchers of beer setting on the table with two mugs. There he waited for his best bud to come |

Catching sight of Nathan at the table a wide grin spread across Lucas's face, "You alright mate?" he asked grasping Nathan's hand in the one handed hug only guys can do. Sliding on to the chair opposite Nathan, Lucas filled the two mugs and took a long drink for his own. "Think I needed that, What's been happening with you?" |

Nathan smiled seeing Lucas and returned the one handed hug and took his mug chugging down his own "Yeah I know the feeling. Ah, man too much....way too much" He chuckled "Wouldn't know where to start. What about you?" He asked leaning back in his chair |

Lucas blushed scratching the back of his head, "Your sister and I are getting along great, things are really serious. I don't think school is going to well though." he laughed, Nasya was a pretty big distraction but one he didn't mind in the slightest. "Fill me in dude, just start somewhere random." |

Lucas shook his head with laughter, "Nope doesn't work like that, let's just say I am not so commitmentphobic now. I'm not telling you anymore until you start talking. Think of it as blackmail, yeah that works. The beer was tart on his tongue, making him relax into the wooden chair. Amused at his mates clear discomfort. |

Lucas burst into laughter making him rock backwards on his chair, wiping away an imaginary tear. "You think that counts," His arm gestured over the pub, "everybody knew that, I want something else." Lucas leveled his gaze at Nathan, it looked like Nathan had been the last to know his own news. Lucas rolled his eyes, "I could say the same thing and you'd already know." |

Nathan's eyes just glared at him "Everyone but Ash knows that...I haven't said it to her yet" He grumbled "Heh yeah but that doesn't count either boy scout" He pulled out the black box in his pocket and threw it on the table "Let's see what you have to say about that" He opened it up and showed him the engagement ring "I'm gonna ask Ash to marry me. Your turn" He said with a smug look on his face |

Lucas stared dumb founded at the glistening ring, "Your.... your proposing?" his hand reached behind his head as he regained the ability to talk. "Congratulations man, unexpected but congrats." he grinned at Nathan, "That pretty much blows all my news out of the water." laughing he coughed as the liquid went the wrong way, "That means it will by Daddy Nathan soon," his laughter ceased as his eyes grew serious, "So how did you come about this?" |

Nathan was content with himself. He wanted to trump Lucas and did so. Though he shrugged lightly "Don't matter" He said shaking his index finger at him "Nope you have to spill first before I answer your question. Now tell me how serious are you exactly with Nasya and be specific" |

Lucas paled there wasn't a chance in hell he was going to tell Nathan that he had slept with his younger sister. Buying himself some time to think he took a swig of his drink, "I'm serious about Nassy so calm down, but your her brother I can't tell you everything. I like being alive." |
