Fantabulous contest presented by the band! Here are the deets! From the band's blog on 8/2/09  :-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those of you who are tweeting, we just launched a Twitter based contest over the weekend: Recruit followers for Your Vegas on twitter and win sexy prizes! Follow Your Vegas on twitter then tweet your followers to follow them too! Then have them tweet @yourvegas with your twitter name to let them know who recruited them. The master recruiter will win a Your Vegas signed special: lyrics/photo/drum skin, sticks & pics. I'm not sure but they were around 580 when it started, maybe someone else has the exact number, and right now they have 728! Woo Hoo! People have been really tweeting hard to win this! Maybe in a few weeks or months as their number of followers grows they can run another contest of some kind again, this time they'll be starting with even more followers so even greater participation, reaching more people. Just my opinion but I definitely think they should capitalize on the new followers they've gained, by letting them know more about who they are and their music through their tweets....now that you have them on the hook, reel them in!  |

After a painfully long delay, with lives and friendships at stake, Your Vegas announced the winner around 3 am.....  Jax!!! And because the competition was so close they announced a runner-up who will also receive a prize.... Robin!!!  Congratulations girls! You both worked so hard on this and did an excellent job recruiting!   |
