It can cause issues if there is not enough power going to all the parts of the computer. Just so you know, you can't get to powerful of a power supply. Having to many watts will not hurt anything, aside from your wallet. So it never hurts to get more power than you need. Once we get more info, hopefully we can help ya out a bit more.
