Arya Family First Mate Posts: 125 Group: Pirate Member #46 Joined: August 27, 2007	Well guys here is the banner I have been working on. Now it doesn't have just one piece characters because like RedMafia said we aren't only going to be subbing one piece but will most likely expand to many different animes. The sakura blossom between the name was taken from Arya's idea of making the site logo a sakura blossom. I thought it was a good idea so I implemented it into the banner. Also guys if you have any thoughts on this banner go ahead and post your opinions. I hope you guys like it.

Novice Posts: 10 Group: Pirate Member #107 Joined: September 19, 2007	adding other anime characters rather than just one piece is a good idea, but wouldn't it make sense to add the characters of the future animes that this fansub is going to do? it might just be me but having characters with different quality bothers me. the ichigo scan looks great, then you look at deidara, he looks like a fanart from deviantart. a better idea would be to code the forum so that whenever we click refresh, a new and different banner would show up.

As well as get rid of Luffy's brother and add Luffy himself =P I would do it myself if my photo software worked But other than that it does look extreamly well done. Props to you dude =P

Um guys how am I supposed to know which animes we are subbing in the future lol? Plus this is an anime site after all. Also I like adding characters that aren't really part of the main characters. I added Ichigo though because that render I had matched the style I wanted. Also if you notice the renders are all about the same quality and style so that's why I have them in there. Take a look at ace and deidara for example. I could find an Itachi render but it'll be hard to find one matching the style of what I wanted. O btw Kazuki if you tried editing my banner without the psu file then it would look like shit. :awesome: To wrap it all up if I used a bunch of different quality renders that had different styles then it would look pretty retarded. I'm sorry but it seems you guys don't understand blending and synchronization. Not to be mean or anything lol.

As long as I layer it correctly it isn't hard to edit an image and it turning out half way decent. It just takes some time thats all Its how I've done all my pictures in the past but now I don't have the correct photo software and don't feel like dishing out loads of cash for it so I haven't dealt with images in a long long while...

Administrator Posts: 245 Group: Administrator Member #3 Joined: August 25, 2007	dont listen to them they dont know what they talking about, its a good banner. =) one question though, is it possible to make it wider? or are the renders you have 2 small? because site looks weird when its not wide enough and it would be good for the banner to span a larger portion of the page width. If you cant do it thats ok too.
