Bleach; Now that DB has decided to go emo

Novice Posts: 6 Group: Civilian Member #559 Joined: January 16, 2008	Its not the story's fault, its the anime's pacing issues. each episode is like half a chapter, I don't even think they try to make the fights cool anymore, the animation is horrible compared to how it was. I haven't watched the show in like a month or 2.

I haven't watched the show in like a month or 2. Dasu, I don't read the manga, but I assume this is the same issue afflicting Naruto... the anime, after fillers ended, is going at a snail's pace. Seems whatever DB subs will go to filler then slow as hell. The curse of DB?

Bleach on the other hand has slowed down its pace but is still much faster than Naruto is going by a long shot. The problem Bleach is having though is that soon the episodes will reach where the manga is. Most likely the longest period in between them is a particular fight that im not going to spoil for those who have not read it yet. Other than that Bleach manga needs to speed up or we will see fillers once again or even worse....flashbacks.... >_<

(i have to be honest i watched 3 episodes and got sick to my stomach) but big anime's usually have that issue anyways.. question is.. does anyone know what happened to the english dub of bleach? was following the english dub to see how much of a difference there was..and got as far as the bridge scene to rukia's prison cell. after that haven't heard anything about the dub.. good thing i can understand japanese :\|

I can't watch anything else dubbed so I can't tell you, though I do know it wasnt very popular unlike the Naruto dubs somehow...@_@ Aside from that Bleach subbed is still very popular as well as Naruto Shippuuden subbed even though their manga stories seam to be getting more attention because of the lack of speed in the anime. One Piece I have seen hasn't had that effect done upon it yet, the anime is just as popular if not more than the manga and they are keeping the distance between the two apparently well (I don't read the manga so I don't know first hand I just know from what one of my best friends tell me).

One Piece I have seen hasn't had that effect done upon it yet, the anime is just as popular if not more than the manga and they are keeping the distance between the two apparently well (I don't read the manga so I don't know first hand I just know from what one of my best friends tell me). i can probably give you some info on why the bleach dub is not as popular as naruto, one piece etc etc. there is so much dialog that has been cut and changed and stuff.. plus when they dubbed bleach they seemed to cut it half way through one episode to save it for another one.. which i'm sure you've watched the subbed version of bleach (i've been watching since the day it was released) that the episodes seem really long.. plus with dubbed anime there are way too many commercial breaks (dragon ball and Z along with GT had this issue.. ) however i think that the real problem with this is just the fact that Viz Media took over the Bleach project for the state side.. so they royally jacked it up and strayed.. and of course bleach subbed will be popular.. alot of american viewers along with other countries who watch the show.. i'm not so big on naruto because it just feels like another DBZ repeat in another anime so i just dont bother with it.. One Piece i wont comment on because i know full well that it'll piss a few people off.. just not my cup of tea as far as anime goes is all i can say about it.. but i've been reading alot of manga for the anime that has been coming out.. and from what i've seen.. rosiaro + vampire has 13 anime episodes yet there is 33? chapters in the manga plus the second season which was released too.. makes absolutely no sense in the long run.. started to fish around for new anime to check out too.. although i'm stuck watching old robotech anime.. good stuff right there i must say.. mind you also i am not really big into mecha anime types it's just the entire idea and concept behind it.. well let's just hope that some of the anime's i've listed off that have manga's to them stick with or similiar to the base concept of the manga themselves. good day.
