Personally when I realized what blackbeards power was I had to laugh XD wow so he can take away someone ability if he grabs onto them...first off he has got to catch luffy(Gear second and soru) second even if he does catch luffy, luffy is strong enough without his power. He has just as much brutal force as Zoro (reflecting on how he push two buildings down when he was stuck in between them) . I honestly think blackbeard is going to get his ass handed to him =3 What do you guys think? |

pfft Well he might not win, luffy lost against an admiral. He wont be dieing but he might not win. It honestly look like Ace got his ass kicked (thank god I didn't really like him) but that would give some more intention for luffy to kick his ass. |

I think with Luffy's strong will-power alone would pwn BB. Even then, Gears Second and Third would give BB the beating of his life. Frankly, I wasn't too impressed with BB's power. Actually I thought it was quite lame lol. btw, lovin the avatar Kazuki LoL... |

Yeah me too, like I said I had to laugh when I saw his power. I think Enel's was so much better than that =3 Since the fact that Luffy can actually hit him without needing something special just shows how easy it will be for him to defeat BB. And yes the avatar is awsome, it explains so much lmao |

Well BB isn't immune to physical damage so if luffy is strong without that fruit of his he could damage BB :o. Who knows! And I like my avatar

lol blackbeard will get some black hole somewhere and luffy will be stuck inside. even super speed won't save you from that <_< furthermore blackbeard had ace reeling with just 2 punches, and he has great stamina even after taking all those hits blackbeard will win, but oda will of course nerf BB and make luffy win in the end |

I think you are understimating BB a bit there. He alone has more physhical power then luffy, plus a gravity field which makes luffy impossible to land a hit. Luffy will be forced to think of something unthinkable to win this battle cause muscle isn't going to solve this tough obsticle ladies and gentlemen. |

I honestly don't think BB has more physical strength than Luffy to be honest, im sure BB devil fruit power will give him a nice edge and the black hole thing might be a problem for luffy but I do though believe once BB underestimates luffys physical power and grabs him to stop his rubber power (most likely while he is in gear second so that it hurts luffy) that BB will get a fist full. lol and Luffy doesnt always win =P he did lose to the admiral... |

well when blackbeard nullifies Luffy's rubber power, Luffy will explode because the blood is pumping too fast through his body and his internal organs, now no longer rubber, wouldn't be able to handle the pressure - see wikipedia or www.onepiece.wikia.com for info on gear 2 and stuff anyway i'm pretty sure luffy's physical strength is on par with Ace, and Ace's attacks made BB roll around in pain, but of course BB got up and didn't seem to mind it after some time, so even with luffy's physical strength he'll take a lot more hits to take down BB even though luffy lost to Ao Kiji, he didn't get killed, thats the main point The hero never dies

Shanks himself said that BB's strenght is not to be underestimated and we all know Shanks is not your average pirate. Let's not forget BB is one of the Sea Kings. Luffy was also ridicilously helpless in "Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island" movie. If it weren't for the help, he would be long gone as the rest of the Mugiwara crew. Not to mention his grandfather Garp, whose strenght we witnessed. BB is going to be one tough nut to crack for Luffy cause he is the arch enemy in the series so far... |
