the brazilian pirate :P Posts: 15 Group: Staff Member Member #89 Joined: September 9, 2007	hey guys hers a list take out the shoutbox put in the cbox put in a scrolling marquee change the skin put in a skin selector a jukebox or a radio. and lasty, more member titles/ranks. a cbox is definatly better than a shoutbox. a scrolling marquee is where the shoutbox is, there would be an announcment as long as u want it to be that keeps rolling and u can type things in it for announcments. skin, im sorry but i foudn the skin a little gay. u can either change the skin or put in a skin selector with variouse skins in it. jukebox/radio not neccesary but fun. more member titles/ranks. killer bee and arya have been pirate kings ever since i left. and they are the top 2 posters(imma get u guys dont worry) but there ranks are the same. change it for em :-) if u guys want any help with any of those if u decide to use them just tell me. OH AND... TAKE OFF FLOOD CONTROL!!!

The shoutbox is fine until I can find a better chat room which I almost did, I have a ton of leads on the stuff. A jukebox is a possibility I do want to look into it I just haven't found time and as for the scrolling marquee, those are actually more annoying than they are helpful so im not adding that....and lastly as for the flood control im leaving that because it is actually a security measure against bots believe it or not.

the brazilian pirate :P Posts: 15 Group: Staff Member Member #89 Joined: September 9, 2007	skins, you dont have to make, if youd like ill add the skin selector and add all the skins for you. shoutbox- there are two chat things that i know of that are better. theres cbox (www.cbox.ws) and theres chatango (http://www.chatango.com/) marquee- ok i know what you mean. flood control- in all the forums ive led i allways took out flood control and i never had a problem with bots.

Senior Webmaster Posts: 532 Group: Moderator Member #97 Joined: September 12, 2007	Well because of our current bot problem (hopefully its gone now because I haven't seen much bot activity) im keeping it up. as for skins I know I don't have to make them its just a pain looking for good ones. Chatbox stuff I will look into later.
