XD Every site I have tried to find give me mail order bride stuff =P I dont think our translators learned japanese online but I know there is a good program out there that can teach you japanese.

hmm... I think the most effective way to learn Japanese is by watching lotsa anime, Jap dramas and listening to Jap songs...cos this really works for me.

I recommend you take it in college. There were a lot of young people in the class that were in junior high and high school. That's where I took it, although I ended up realizing it wasn't for me I did get somewhat proficient in a short amount of time, plus it satisfied my foreign language requirement (even though I already speak spanish pretty well :P )

Edit: If you do take it in class, please don't be one of those annoying people that yells out weird anime phrases like "nande-tebayo!!", or asks the teacher how to say things like "I'm going to drive my ultra-mega spaceship to sector nine and destroy the android pirates." Oh, and don't argue with the professor either. We had a guy arguing that "watashi" was only for women, and men said "ore or boku" which of course was incredibly annoying (and wrong).
