Post all your ranting about lousy/shitty teachers here. I've got a crap load of shitty stories about shitty teachers  basically i was 15 years old in 2007, which is sec 3 in singapore and i think its considered form 3 in malaysia and grade 9 or so in US I have teachers for english, maths, chinese, bio, chem, physics, geog, social studies, Music, and a few other non-graded subjects in my school now theres this thing called raffles academy (RA) which provides "accelerated learning" for students who are keen in the subject, show interest, are pro etc. its a whole bunch of bullshit man seriously. they put a teacher in charge of all the RAs (RA subjects are in literature, maths, bio, chem, physics, geog, history). each RA subject has a maximum class size of 30, some much less, because they kinda offered the RA to exactly 30 people each year, and you're only allowed to have a maximum of 2 RAs (in case of overstress), and many ppl get more than 2 RAs, one guy even got offered RA for ALL Subjects, which is gay really. hence, in the end (approximately) maths had 29 ppl, bio 12, chem 25+, physics 20+ etc practically all my teachers this year suck, really. my class is 3A, one of those classes with RA students. its kinda like 3A-3D are the "top mugger classes" with all the muggers inside  of course all classes get different teachers, and of course some teachers suck. my class happened to have practically ALL lousy teachers. i'll talk about chinese first, cause thats the worst. my class also has 12 scholars from other countries, 9 china and 3 vietnam. and the chinese teacher, being shitty, discriminates against the non-china students. for example all the compos or comprehensions that are based on the teachers opinion, she'll just mark you down if she doesn't like you. need and example? sure. theres this guy from china (hanqiao is his name), came in pri school so he's not one of the scholars. his chinese is very pro. there was a book report on some traditional chinese book, and he did a report about 8k words long (90% lifted from internet but the teacher being lazy doesn't bother to check for plagarism which they're supposed to). in the end he got 44/50. btw i did like 4-5k words, non plagarised and i got 35/50, it sucks really. so theres this other guy, singaporean, called justin. hanqiao sent justin his report, we always do that to get ideas from each other, and justin copied the whole shit word for word, only changed the font and a bit of paragraphing, and yet HE GOT 38/50 WTF IS THIS SHIT MAN!!! if you didn't get that, it means that they passed up the EXACT SAME PIECE OF WORK and one guy for 12% less marks than the other. this is bullshit bullshit bullshit  and theres no criteria on presentation and organisation. the bloody china woman just flipped through and gave u a mark based on her impression and whether or not she likes you or not. really i have a good mind to get the 2 pieces of work give it to the headmaster (who sucks too btw) and go tell him that the chinese teacher sucks balls. 2 exact same pieces of work and she gave one higher, she obviously didn't know it was copied so she has no excuse to say that she knows one guy copied from the other. go fire her. biased opinions are like ****, the teacher should die, period. yeah i have plenty more stories about how she sucks, i'll post them next time. the only good teachers i have this year are like, geog, ss, and to a smaller extent bio and music. |

robin-chan,i also had the same experience~having a sucks teacher. same as malaysia,class A-D is considered as good and smart students.class A-C are pure science class(for form 4&5) and D class is specially for account class.we supposed to have good teachers to teach us but.... i was in class 5A this year.and my chemistry,bahasa melayu(malay language) and biology sucks the most. my chemistry teacher sucks the most.she's the one incharge of teacher my class since form four to face SPM(A big exam btw) and her teaching method is just plainly suck.everytime we entered the lab,she would just say something useless for 20minutes and then we proceed to a more useless stuff~projector.our goverment support the use of computer and projector and other technology based equipment as a supplementary teaching method.i got nothing to oppose to that,but she always took her sweet time arranging her stuffs and it take away our time to learn!a period takes about 40-45 minutes.lets calculate~20minutes o useless speech,5-10minutes arranging her stuffs.how many minutes left for us to study?after that,the way she teach is sooooooooooo boring that i just simply sleep whenever chem time(but i still manage to get high marks!bcuz i like the subject n i simply studied on my own). one more thing i dont like about her is the way she marks exam paper.one time the question ask about the inference~marks given is three.i only got one mark~just because my sentence is different from from the marking scheme~by one word.i still remember,my answer is "the potential difference is higher when the metal placed in the electrochemical series is more far from each other." here's the marking sheme's answer: "the potential difference is higher when the metal placed in the electrochemical series is more far APART from each other." bacause of this i got C for my chemistry~and this dissapoint my tutor,the one who made me fell in love with chemistry .i wont forget this.:headbang: for BM(malay language) my class are used to it already.Ainul is the apple in her eyes.she always got the highest score in her essays and always got the highest marks in exam.she even got the award for best student in BM.she always spoke softly to ainul whenever she asks but there's one time,my friend Izzati ask her a question and she ended up being humilliated in the class.poor her.Same goes to Sharmilah and Farah,even me. evrybody was surprised when Ainul's mark dropped~greatly for trial exam.wanna know why?bcuz the one who marked our paper at that time is not her~its the other BM teachers.she took her maternity leave at that time.surprisingly all the indian students who always got B during usual exam got A for trial exam. i got more stories,maybe i'll share bout it later

arggh. i had 3 chem teachers this year. the 1st and 3rd sucked, 2nd only decent. apparently the 1st teacher was teaching another class on titration. "you guys must remember to use the clip or else the acid will spill out" at that very moment, apparently his demo, all the acid spilled out. lol |

yeah my teacher told us not to use big fire for bunsen burner,she afraid that it would explode but she's the one who showed that example to us. another person i dont like is the lab assistant at the chemistry lab,she's always bossing around,and she dislikes us 5A students.one day when Thashi(my classmates) accidentally broke a pipette she humilliate him and ask payment~ she also said dont throw the leftover acids taken that haven't been used in the sink but the chemistry teacher herself did it.what a bad example  in my chem class we were divided to 4 groups ~ but she only listen to the 1st group only which seat infront of her (im in the 2nd group) and she hated those who seat at the back cuz she always yell at them :angry: |

lol. i'm taking RA maths, so there is a "special" teacher teaching RA maths. he's not too bad actually, he's good in maths, but somewhat looks down on those who get not so high marks. other than that he's boring too and looks like crap |

picky teacher?huh,most of the teacher did that.my english teacher paid extra attention to those who got high marks in english and those who can speak english well.most of the malay students in my class cant speak english as well as the indian and chinese so they got little attention.i'm not one of the malay students though - cuz i can speak english kinda well in the class.my malay friends find its hard to express themselves well infront of her - first bcuz she's scary and second cuz they cant come up with words to speak. my math teacher is quite nice,but i dont really like her or really despise her,somehow.she and my english teacher are the only teacher stood by 5A when we we're scolded cuz we made our teacher cried in class --twice. |

hehe really?there are still some teacher i considered good.e.g my chemistry tution teacher,she's just so good in chemistry and my math teacher too,she's so patient with my class ^ ^
