I'm really thinking about this. And I found one school.

It would have been really fun to go outside and have some fun. Meet some people there and learn to speak japanese at the same time.
But this wont be untill like 4-5 years from now. Got to end my school here in sweden first, and get a job to save money for the trip ^.^

What do you think about it? :P ^.^

That is a real sink or swim strategy lol. If you don't learn it, life out there could be pretty rough. Still, it would be interesting and fun to live out there. I haven't been to Japan yet myself, but would like to visit it as well. I was thinking of learning Japanese just to know it. No real reason, just thought it would be nice to know.

I would say you should at least try to take a class where you currently are, if there is any, and once you get to Japan you will have a much easier time.

Either way, good luck learning it. :)

I agree with Drex, learn the basics as much as you can here so when you go to Japan it'll be a lot easier to catch on. I have been to Japan nearly 10 times now and just being around the language and training your ear will do wonders. I'm almost fluent, so my suggestion to you is learn the basics then go to Japan. Japan is a really fun place to go, especially with all the HOT CHICKS!!!
