hi! i've always had problems with softsubs. the thing is when i play the raw file, the audio is ahead of both video and subtitles. i've just wasted 500mb downloading the raw and i really wanted to watch one piece right now, so any help would be appreciated.
ps: i've never had problems with hardsubs and other stuff, its always with this softsubs.

Try using this video player, i used to like vlc and media player classic and stuff, but now i think the very best is Kmplayer (it comes from Mplayer, a great and old video player for linux, now on windows it rocks big time.)

http://imgcdn.pandora.tv/pan_img/KMP/Download/kmp.exe

If, by any chance it's not in english, then try this installer with multilanguage
http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7732

It should work, otherwise try installing Klite codec pack.

Anyway, Kmplayer should do the work.

Vlc is also tight man, very good software, Dragon, you should try Kmplayer too, see if you like it, its light like vlc and has like 1.000.000 options, very nice ;) Those two and mp classic are the bests.

Can you post your computer specs? I didn't read well before, but if it works with the hardsubs, it's because your problem is with the raw, it has nothing to do with the softsubs, maybe for MP4 HD files (x.264) that could be too much for your computer, just maybe.

computer specs? sorry dont know what that is, but my pc is pretty crappy, p4 2.0ghz 256mb ram. but if it was too much for my computer it shouldn't really play at all, instead of playing with the audio ahead of both video and subtitles. just my guess

I guess it's because of the pc dude, really, but if the hardsubs works for you, then that's great.

this happens to me too all u have to do is replay the file, close everything else and open and close the file until the timings right, its your computer not the file. and theres nothing u can do to the player either, its just keep opening until the timings correct.
