problem with softsubs.

ok theres a program where u can set when the audio starts and stuff let me find it...

I think its directVob, let me ask desiboy where to get it.

Hey, guys. If you have k-lite codec pack installed you should be able to play it in media player classic. Occasionally the installation requires you to go to the start menu and under the K-Lite Codec Pack go to the Configuration and then click on directvobsub. Under the General tab make sure that the bottom loading section says Always Load and under the Misc tab, make sure that Hide subtitles is unchecked. That should work.

It's the 256 mb of ram that is making it lag. Your poor computer can't handle h264, aac audio and subtitles all at once. 256 mb is VERY little. I have 2 GB for example.

That's true.
This days havin 2GB ram is very usefull, but if you could have 1GB or at least 512 mb maybe you could have no problem with the video.

Yeah you do need more ram for a mp4 file, you might be able to pull it off with avi but its tricky. It is the RAM that is the issue.
