Today 6th Feb marks Nico Robin's 28th birthday! (just like how it's been for the past 10 years  )
To commemorate this special event, I have been doing a Character Biography. It is probably the longest you can find on the internet - currently over 6k words, but it is still incomplete and will be updated over time for content and font appearances.

Character Biography – Nico Robin
Introduction:

Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. Her nickname is “Devil’s Child”. Since she was 8 years old, she had a price of 79 million beli on her head. She was born into a family of scholars, and is smarter and has more extensive knowledge than Nami. Robin has an attractive face and figure, as well as huge ______.
She has detailed knowledge about pirates, the ocean and the world government, and, because of her Hana Hana no Mi powers, she is also able to fight. She is so strong that during the Arabasta battle she managed to overpower the strongest enemy soldier, Pell.
When she was a child, she witnessed how the government committed the Buster Call atrocity, and she blamed the government for this indiscriminant massacre. But during the Baroque Works saga, we can see another side of her, when she reveals that to pursue her dreams of finding the poneglyphs, she has no qualms about sacrificing the lives of many people, and she even commits atrocities herself.
When she first appeared in the storyline she belonged to Baroque Works. Robin was the only person other than Crocodile who knew about the scheme to overthrow the Arabasta kingdom, and because Crocodile could not show his true intentions and identity, Robin was responsible for all the details of planning the insurrection.
After Crocodile’s plans failed, Robin was desperate, and having lost her goal in life, she almost died. However Luffy saved her and she joined the Straw Hat Pirates. From then on, she experienced many adventures and little by little, she opened her heart out to Luffy and his friends.
Robin ate the Paramecia Devil fruit Hana Hana no Mi. Robin mostly uses her powers to duplicate her arms in order to do a variety of things. The techniques Robin uses all have different names and follow a certain pattern. First she says the number of limbs she will sprout in Spanish, followed by “fleur”, which means flower in French. If the next thing she wants to do is attack, she will say the name of the attack in English, E.g. Treinta Fleur Strangle. While her arms start to sprout, flower petals start growing and flying around her.

Robin is 28 years old in the current storyline. She was the 7th member to join the Strawhat crew and acts as the archaeologist in the group. At the moment, her bounty of 80 million beli is the highest known for a female. Previously, an initial bounty of 79 million beli was put on her head when she was an 8 year old child by Spandine of cp9.
She first appears as Miss All-Sunday in Chapter 114 of the manga and episode 67 of the anime series, although she also made an appearance in the ending song of Movie 2.
Her only known relatives are her deceased mother, Nico Olvia as well as Roji, the aunt whose house she lived in during the period when her mother left and when the Buster Call was invoked on Ohara.
SBS (Shitsumon o Bushuu Suru) section:
Robin’s birthday is the 6th of February,
Robin’s measurements are as follows: Height – 188cm (6’2”), B99, W59, H89 (39-23-35)
This makes her the 2nd tallest member (next to Franky) and the tallest female member.
Her favourite foods are sandwiches, cakes that aren’t too sweet, stuff that goes well with coffee (http://arlongpark.net/Manga/SBS/45)
Robin is represented by the color purpose and smells of flowers. (http://arlongpark.net/Manga/SBS/40)
Eiichiro Oda has also stated that she could sprout breasts. (http://arlongpark.net/Manga/SBS/45)

Personality

Robin appears to be cold-hearted, but she is actually amiable and easy to get along with. She is usually seen reading a book on the ship while drinking coffee. Some of the Strawhats, such as Usopp and Chopper were put off by her reserved, austere manner, but have now grown to accept her as part of the group. Most often wearing a benign expression, Robin also acts imperturbable, being unusually calm and serene even in the most exasperating of situations, showing absolute indifference to anything that is going around her, e.g. One Piece Movie 4 – Robin was seen drinking calmly even with a big fight going on around her. This characteristic may also cause others to think that she is unkind, although this is untrue as she does care a lot for the people whom she trusts, but has a kind of “heck care” attitude towards everything else, only doing what she thinks is right or whatever she wants because she has a strong sense of pride.
Robin also has a dark side to her, for example she wanted to name the Thousand Sunny “Darkness Pill”, and also thought that the Cerberus was cute.
Of all the Strawhats, Robin also talks the least, only speaking up when something interesting has happened, to explain stuff that goes on, or generally only when she feels that there is a need to. Unlike many other characters in the series, Robin is not subjected to face faults or over exaggerated outbursts of emotions, being emotionally-reserved. Finally, Robin is also quick to point out realistically morbid facts, often creeping out or scaring Nami and Usopp.

Relationships with the rest of the crew
Before the Enies Lobby arc, Robin distanced herself from the rest of the crew as she does not really trust them and thinks that she will be leaving the crew sooner or later, just like what she has done for the past 20 years on the run. However, after experiencing adventures with the crew, she feels accepted and knows that her relation with the Strawhats is different from her relations with the people she used to be with. This explains her decision to sacrifice herself to the World Government to allow the 6 Strawhat pirates to leave Water 7 safely. After the Enies Lobby incident, she realizes that her crew would never betray her, and only then has she considered herself a true member – prior to that she thought she was only tagging along. The act of burning the World Government’s fl`ag proved to her that her enemies would also be their enemies. This was only the second time in her life where she felt loved, the first being 20 years ago from the archaeologists of Ohara.

Monkey D. Luffy
Robin appears rather interested in Luffy mostly due to the D in his name, a trait shared by Saulo. This can be seen through the way she pronounces Luffy’s name e.g. in episode 67 the D is emphasized whereas other people do not do so. When she rescued Luffy in episode 111, Robin also expressed her interest in his name. This was also openly declared by her in episode 194 that she was rather interested in Luffy (not in the manner you guys are thinking about). She also understands Luffy’s incapability in several situations and will use her powers to help out (e.g. catching the arrow in episode 140, roller skating race). Luffy is also the only person whom she calls by name, and occasionally his title of Senchou (captain).
Luffy agreed to Robin’s request to join their group due to his easy-going manner, and has treated her equally like the rest of the crew, going as far to invade Enies Lobby to bring her back, just like what he would have done if anyone else were stolen away from their crew. In return, Robin respects Luffy’s position as a captain (much like Zoro and Sanji) and will follow where the captain leads them to, such as telling Henzo that it is up to Luffy to choose their paths. She also dislikes people who insult her crew or Luffy, such as by throwing popcorn and cola onto Foxy’s crewmates in episode 217 when they insult Luffy.

Roronoa Zoro
Zoro was one of the only Straw Hats to remain suspicious of Robin after she joined, and shows his disapproval of her many times even up till the current storyline. For example, when Robin seemed indifferent about joining the Foxy pirate crew, he said, “I never trusted her anyway.” His thoughts were also similar in Water 7 when the Strawhats thought that Robin had betrayed their group. Most of the time though, Zoro remains fairly neutral towards Robin, as he does towards most of the other Strawhat Pirates. After Enies Lobby, Zoro does not appear to treat her differently prior to the incident, and is expected to retain this attitude for the rest of the series.
Zoro and Robin both share many similarities in character. They are usually the ones who sit in one corner while the others party (e.g. Skypiea episode 166), and are almost always serious. Furthermore, it is always either Zoro or Robin who notice when the group is in trouble or when an enemy is planning a sneak attack.
Nami
In episode 130, Nami was one of those who was most suspicious of Robin, but was easily charmed into accepting her into the group with some jewels.
Here is what Nami said at first:
Pathetic. Look how easily you let her walk all over you. She was the Vice President of an enormous criminal organization until this very day. Give me one good reason why we should let her join us. You may have fooled these idiots, but it won’t work on me! If you ever try anything, I’m kicking you out.
Afterwards, it was clear that Nami and Robin became best friends on the ship, as they are often seen talking or shopping together. Nami also stated that “Robin is the only one whom she can rely on and is the only person on the ship who understands her”, and has never bossed Robin around like she does with the rest of the crew, e.g. Zoro or Luffy. In return, Robin also understands how Nami feels about the rest of the crew, e.g. in episode 144 Robin expresses her opinion to Nami that she “Sure is having a hard time”.

Usopp
Robin does not really talk much with Usopp so far, but when they do, she usually teases him and plays around with him as Usopp is rather cowardly. For example, scaring him when she said that her specialty is assassination (episode 130), taunting him in episode 139 about whether he was too afraid to enter the Rainbow mist, as well as making fun of him during the G-8 arc – the really funny quote, “Lets stick our noses in together, Nagahana-kun” was when they were about to investigate the stronghold.

Sanji
Sanji constantly flirts with Robin, though not as much as he does with Nami. Unlike Nami, Robin does not reject Sanji’s efforts not accepts them either, and doesn’t go around hitting him.
He calls her Robin-Chan and Nami by Nami-san.
Oda explains why in the following SBS:
D: I have a question for Sanji! Why does he call the younger Nami "san" and the older Robin "Chan"? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Sanji-kun, that's rather rude to Robin-Chan! By a girl as old as Sanji O: Yeah. Really. Why does he do that? I suppose it's Nami's rather queenly nature that does it to him. Well, they're all so free-minded that it doesn't really suit the crew to think about who's older and who's younger. He probably does it for fun.
o.o so now you know.

Tony Tony Chopper
When Robin just joined, Chopper was afraid of her, being scared by her presence and attempting to attack her in episode 131. However, he has gradually grown to like Robin, and they share a close relationship. For example during the Davy Back Fight arc, Chopper leapt out of Porche’s arms to go to Robin instead, and they were holding hands too! Here’s a picture of it:

Franky
As Franky has just joined the crew, it is still unclear about her relationship with Franky. Updates next time 

Other friends, families and allies
Nico Olvia:
Nico Olvia was Robin’s mother. Robin greatly resembles her mother with the exception of hair and skin tone. Robin was forced to leave her mother who left to study poneglyphs. Olvia regretted having to leave Robin and never being there when Robin needed her, but died proud of her for being such an amazing, smart child who had passed an Archaeology examination at such a young age.
Robin’s father never made an appearance, and has been dead for a long time. She does not appear to have any other siblings, and any other family members are presumed dead long ago.
Roji:
Roji was Robin’s mean aunt. Her husband was Olvia’s brother, who took Robin in when Olvia left for work. Roji never liked Robin and forced her to do all the housework and eat stale bread, often scolding or hitting her, and complaining when Robin tried out her cousin’s clothes.

Enemies
As her name is on the wanted list, Robin’s enemy naturally consists of the World Government itself, who currently offers an 80 million beli bounty for her and have been ruthlessly hunting her from the age of 8. Aside from the World Government, Robin also made many enemies out of the pirates whom she worked for previously and betrayed them, though most of them are just minor characters and do not pose much of a threat to her, other than Crocodile, whom she betrayed during the Arabasta arc. While on the run, Robin was unable to find happiness and was constantly chased away or thrown out. Even the people who allowed her to stay with them eventually found out about her large bounty and tried to turn her over to government officials.

History
Robin’s life has been far from easy, and has been a fight every day for the past 28 years of her life. After the Buster Call incident on Ohara 20 years ago, Robin travelled with various pirates for 16 years, betraying all of them and eventually joining forces with Crocodile, who promised to protect her from the government if she served him. 4 years later into the present, she left the defeated Crocodile to join the Strawhats, and have since experienced adventures in Sky Island, Water 7 etc until the current storyline.
Baroque Works
Robin first appeared as Miss All-Sunday during the Baroque Works saga and was the vice-president of the underground organization, acting as the partner to Mr. 0.
At the end of the Whiskey peak arc, Robin sneaked onto the Going Merry after blowing up Igaram’s ship to offer them help in the form of an eternal pose that points to Nanimonai (island of nothingness) near Alabasta. By following this path, the Strawhats would not be chased by any of the other Baroque Works agents because none of them know of that route. Thinking that it was a trap and that outsiders should not decide the path of their ship, Luffy opted for the hard way and smashed the eternal pose into pieces. According to Vivi, Robin had purposely allowed her to find out Crocodile’s true identity, and was also the one who informed Crocodile that someone knows his secret (that he was the mastermind of the entire organization).
As the Strawhats enter Alabasta, her actions grew more and more mysterious. She appeared to be dedicated towards Baroque Works, as she always carries out Crocodile’s instructions dutifully. On the other hand, she was also indifferent to anything that happened to her subordinates, such as remaining aloof while reporting that all the 200 billions (foot-soldiers in the Baroque Works ranking system) had been annihilated by an unknown person (Ace).
It soon became apparent that she cared for neither side, and had her own motives in whatever she did. (Wikipedia)
In episode 109, Sanji destroys the bridge connected to Rain Dinners to prevent Crocodile from re-entering the casino. Robin notices this, but did not inform Crocodile even after he demanded to know what happened to the bridge. In another instance, Robin even saved Luffy when he had been impaled by Crocodile and left to die in quicksand – episode 111. Pell, who was earlier defeated by her, arrived on the scene and had Luffy entrusted to him. As to why she did this, it is most likely due to the D in his name.
On the way to the tomb where the Poneglyph was located, Tashigi and a group of marines attempted to free Nefertari Cobra, but were easily defeated. At this point, she is revealed to have had a 79 million beli bounty since she was an 8 year old child. In the tomb, Robin betrays Crocodile by telling him the history of Alabasta, and said that Pluton was not mentioned on the poneglyph at all. However, the poneglyph actually contained extensive information on the location and resurrection of Pluton. Crocodile saw through her lie and decided to kill her. Robin’s attempt to kill Crocodile failed, and he stabbed her.
As Luffy arrived in the tomb, Robin revealed that her dream was to find the Rio Poneglyph – the Poneglyph that tells the true history, a period of time that the World Government tries to suppress. She had only joined forces with Crocodile to search for the Rio Poneglyph, as there would be no other way for her to access the tomb without his help. Unfortunately, the Poneglyph in the tomb did not contain the information she wanted, and was prepared to die.
In a turn of events, Luffy defeated Crocodile, and she gave Luffy the antidote to cure the poison in his body. He then carried both Robin and Cobra out of the tomb despite her efforts to stop him, as she wanted to die there and then.
After leaving Alabasta, Robin appeared inside the Going Merry, and requested for Luffy to accept her into the crew. Despite protests from Nami, Usopp and Zoro, Robin uses her wit to charm them into accepting her, and has been travelling with the Strawhat crew ever since.

Jaya & Sky Island – Skypiea:
When the ship fell down on the crew in episode 143-144, it was Robin who brought up the fact that there was an island in the sky, and later stole an eternal pose from Masira to bring the group to Jaya. After subduing a Southbird with her powers, the group successfully made it up to Skypiea.
There, they got into trouble with the White Berets, and Conis told them of a way to get off Sky Island – that is to simply go to clouds end and take a path back down to the Blue Sea. As usual, Robin suspected something was amiss, and told the rest of the group about her sentiments. However, they were eventually captured and brought to the Sacrificial Altar in Upper Yard. While waiting for Luffy, Sanji and Usopp to catch up with them, Robin went out exploring the place along with Zoro and Nami, where she expressed her opinions about the presence of soil on Sky Island and a well, hinting that a civilization once lived on Upper Yard. They later discovered that Upper Yard was once part of Jaya itself, and had been blasted into the sky.
The next day, Robin followed the exploration group, but they were separated by a giant python, and only Robin continued in the right direction, the rest all getting lost. While investigating some ruins, she was attacked by Yama, the chief enforcer. Robin tried to protect the ancient ruins from being destroyed, and did not attack Yama for fear of further damaging the ruins, from which she wanted to learn more about Sky Island’s history. Only after leading Yama to a safe spot did she start attacking, and then effortlessly crushed Yama.
She also learnt from the writings on the ruins about the location of Shandra, the city of gold. There, she met Enel, who commended her on finding the ruins through reading the ruins, as he and his subordinates had taken several months themselves to locate the gold.
Robin was then one of the 5 survivors who were offered to join Enel to “Fairy Vearth”, but they refused the offer, and she tried to manipulate Enel’s decision to leave by telling him that he does not possess the golden bell yet. However, Enel already guessed where it was, and attacked her.
With Enel’s defeat by the hands of Luffy, the golden bell was retrieved along with the poneglyph attached to it. Robin translated the words and found out about the location of Poseidon, an ancient weapon similar to Pluton. She also realizes how to find the Rio Poneglyph – that is to follow the trails of poneglyphs to the end of the Grand Line, Raftel.

G-8 Arc: This arc takes place from episode 196-206
In the beginning of the G8 arc, Robin was left with Usopp. Later, Usopp disagreed with Robin on how to proceed with escaping, and he went off by himself to look for the Going Merry, while Robin searched for a suitable disguise. She came across Special Inspector Shepherd, and disguised herself as the special inspector. Later, she entered the room just as Usopp claimed to be the special inspector himself. His efforts to ask Robin to save him were dismissed, and he was then thrown into the brig with Zoro. She then spent most of the time researching the structure of the stronghold in a bid to find an escape route. After the rest of the Strawhat pirates managed to escape with the Going Merry, her true identity was exposed. However, she escaped and provided useful information on how to escape.
When the Strawhats decided to return to the stronghold to retrieve the stolen gold, Robin went along with Luffy, Zoro and Usopp to a probably hiding place, where they were ambushed. Luckily, Commander Shepherd arrived with his portable bazooka and helped them remove the steel walls. While he tried to shoot the Strawhats, she then forced him to shoot his own allies with her Hana Hana no Mi powers, and blasted him far away.
After further discussion, Robin suggested that the gold was hidden in Jonathan’s own office, which turned out to be correct. When the ship was stranded on a low tide, they then cleverly made use of the breath and flame dials to reignite the tako-balloon and the impact dial to boost the ship, successfully escaping.

Davy Back Fight arc:
After flying on the Tako-balloon, the group landed near an island. While Luffy, Usopp and Chopper ran off to explore the island, the rest stayed on the ship, and Robin noticed an unknown ship in the mist, which were actually the Foxy Pirates. As Luffy accepted the challenge from Foxy, the Davy Back Fight begins!
In the first round, Donut Race, Robin teamed up with Nami and Usopp in their Tiger Barrel boat.

Water 7 & cp9 arc:
After the Davy Back Fight, the group encountered Ao Kiji, one of the Marine’s Vice Admirals. After observing the Strawhats, he decided that they were getting too dangerous to live, with Nico Robin being the most dangerous of all. He then reveals to the others about her dark past – that every group she had been with were all destroyed, except herself. He then insults her, saying that she had manipulated and betrayed all the groups only in her own interests and asks if the Strawhats were now her new “tools”. He also mentions that one day Robin’s curse will eventually destroy all of them, and that they should not have taken her in. Vehemently protesting that she isn’t a bad person, Robin attempts to kill Ao Kiji, but fails and is frozen by his Hie Hie no Mi powers. Thankfully, the Strawhats protect her and Ao Kiji decides to let them off for the time being.
Ao Kiji then informed Spandam, the current leader of cp9, that Nico Robin was still alive, and would be arriving at Water 7 shortly. As the only person left who could read poneglyphs, Spandam wanted to tap into her power and use her to revive Pluton for his personal uses, and hence gave orders to the cp9 members in Water 7 to threaten her.
In Water 7, Robin explored the town together with Chopper. While Chopper was distracted by a bookstore, Blueno of cp9 caught her attention, and she was then led to a meeting with a few other members of the cp9. Sanji caught a glimpse of her, only to realize that she had disappeared, because she had walked through a door that Blueno created with his powers at the end of the road.
That night, the mayor of Water 7 Iceburg was almost assassinated, and he told everybody that he saw Nico Robin as one of the assassins. The Strawhats were then framed for the attempted murder, which was what the cp9 planned – to put the blame on pirates and hide the fact that the government was actually behind it. The Strawhats initially thought that Robin had betrayed them, but her “betrayal” was actually the result of blackmail. The cp9 members had threatened to launch a Buster Call attack on Water 7 and wipe out the Strawhats if she refused to cooperate with them and help them to resurrect Pluton for Spandam. Still haunted by memories of the Buster Call attack on Ohara, Robin accepted the deal, as she desperately wanted to protect the only people who have treated her kindly in 20 years, even if it meant that everyone else would be killed by Pluton.
When Sanji and Chopper met Robin on the streets the day after the attempted assassination of Iceburg, she confirmed their fears, saying that she wanted to leave the group forever. Sanji saw through her lie and knew something was amiss, and sent Chopper to inform the rest of the group about her actions. They then decided to invade Iceburg’s mansion, where they expected Robin to appear, in order to find out the real truth.
Sure enough, Robin and Blueno attacked the mansion that night. They easily got past the guards and entered Iceburg’s room. After some talking, Robin was left alone with Iceburg while the rest of the cp9 members went to retrieve the Pluton blueprints, which they believed was in the hands of Iceburg. Afterwards, Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Chopper burst into the room and demanded to know what was going on. However, Robin acted cold and heartless, saying that she carried an unspeakable darkness within her, and that she could not achieve her dream by staying with the Strawhats. As she left the room, Lucci then transformed into his half-leopard form and easily defeated the present Strawhats.
Later on the Seatrain, Sanji, Usopp and Franky mounted a rescue attempt. They managed to defeat everyone on the train except the cp9 members (excluding Nero). However, Robin even attacked her own friends so that she would not be rescued, as the Strawhats would be killed if she did not follow the cp9.

Abilities and Talents:
Devil Fruit ability:
Nico Robin ate the Hana Hana no Mi before she was 8 years old.
Hana Hana no mi – “Hana” represents the Japanese word for bloom. It belongs to the paramecia group of devil fruits, which grants the user a superhuman ability.
Effect: It allows the consumer to sprout pieces of his or her body parts multiple times from the surface of any objects that the user sees, but cannot be formed in areas where there is insufficient space. This can be done up to a distance of 200 Hana Hanas away (has a range of up to 200 human distances away), and does not mean that the user can only sprout a maximum of 200 limbs.
Fighting style: Disabling an opponent with minimal risk to her own body
Devil Fruit powers:
Spanish Name Translation Notes
Tres Fleur 3 flowers
Seis Fleur 6 flowers
Cinco Fleur 5 flowers
Ocho Fleur 8 flowers
Dies y Seis Fleur 16 flowers
Veinte Fleur 20 flowers
Treinta Fleur 30 flowers
Cien Fleur 100 flowers Robin sprouts 100 hands either as wings or to prepare for delphinium
Oreja Fleur Ear flowers Robin sprouts ears to listen to conversations from a distance
Ojos Fleur Eye flowers Robin sprouts eyes to spy on people
Specialized attacks:
Name Notes
Clutch (2 hands) Usually used against a large group of enemies, e.g.
Clutch (6 hands) Using 6 hands, Robin places the opponent in a submission hold and snaps their spine
Clutch (12 hands) Similar to Clutch (6 hands), this was used against Yama and Ao Kiji
Strangle Robin sprouts an arm from each enemy’s neck and strangles them – episode 122 against a group of 30 marines
Twist Using 6 arms, Robin twists the enemy and breaks their bones, e.g. against Tashigi in episode 122
Flip Robin restrains her opponent with 6 arms. 2 more are sprouted near their feet to flip them over – used against Kapote during the Davy Back Fight.
Hang Robin sprouts 30 hands and captures the opponent in several chains of hands. This is followed by swinging the enemy to smash into a wall or to drop them as she pleases.
Calendula Robin sprouts 10 hands from her elbows in a circular pattern that acts as a shield – used once in episode 174 to defend the ruins from Yama.
Delphinium Robin sprouts 100 hands from the ground, forming a path that rolls the enemy to her desired location, regardless of their size or weight with relative ease. Used twice, firstly against Yama on sky island, and secondly during the Rollerskate race to roll fuusen Luffy around the track with surprising speed.

The Hana Hana no Mi is regarded by many as unfair, and for a good reason. Its trait of being able to sprout as many limbs as desired gives it the advantage of numbers, and is more than enough to take down any enemy, even those possessing superhuman strength. Furthermore, it grants the user the ability to attack or to disable enemies from a distance. For example, Miss All-Sunday could knock weapons out of Sanji, Zoro, Usopp and Nami’s hands, and throw Sanji and Usopp overboard without moving a muscle.

Besides its combat abilities, the Hana Hana no Mi also grants its user a variety of other purposes.
One of these uses is spying. As a child, she was known for spying on the archaeologists while they were doing their research, according to Professor Clover in episode 275. By sprouting ears on any surface, she can listen to conversations while keeping a safe distance away. Eye flowers are often used to survey the surroundings or to scout for the presence of enemies, such as during the G-8 arc, or to peep into hard to see places. For example, in episode 153, by sprouting multiple eyes on Luffy’s outstretched arm, she was able to locate the falling Usopp and pull him to safety.
The other use is to speed up everyday chores or to work from a distance.

Basically, the uses of the Hana Hana no Mi are virtually infinite. There are many other examples of how Robin uses her powers to make life easier to herself and make life difficult for others. She can row the boat while simultaneously reading a book in episode 210, steal the ball from hamburger in 215, carry heavy objects with ease in 215 (the rule book), throw popcorn and cola on people’s heads in 217, shut wake people up in Ocean Dream arc, stabilizing friends (Sanji in the 3rd opening and episode 228).
There are probably a lot more uses, and maybe I’ll list them all next time.

Besides having a devil fruit power, Robin is also rather agile, these can be seen in more examples :ehm:. For example, Robin is often seen dodging the attacks of enemies, such as Crocodile in the tomb, escaping from the snake in Skypiea, dodging attacks from the merman during the roller skating race etc. Although she does not display it, Robin also appears to be rather strong, as she could hold Cobra with one hand or lift heavy opponents. Her ability to sprout multiple limbs adds to this advantage.

Robin’s forte lies in her wide knowledge of the sea. Having experienced many grueling trials, she is very experienced in the One Piece world, be it facing villains or other situations, Robin is always able to pinpoint a way to save the group. Her erudite nature helps her make astute decisions even in the toughest of circumstances.
As a skilled archaeologist, she is the only person left in the world who is able to read Poneglyphs that contain information about history. Robin learnt how to read poneglyphs by herself through researching in the Ohara library when she was a young child.

FAQS:
When did Robin eat the Hana Hana no Mi?
Robin first appears in the manga when she was 8 years old and from that time on she has the ability of the Hana Hana no Mi. The other children call her names like “Monster” and “Demon and they ostracize her. Since Robin herself does not seem to be able to control her powers yet, it is highly likely that she ate the Hana Hana no Mi just before she turned 8 years old. Perhaps she ate the fruit without realizing what she ate. Even after she masters the skill of sprouting hands, it is clear that she has no idea why she suddenly acquired the ability. Although she really wants to be seen as a normal person, she doesn’t try to hide her powers.
When Robin was 8 years old, she not only becomes an orphan, but to make matters worse, the government decides that she is a criminal and puts a price on her head. So it leaves her no choice but to join the underworld. She struggles to survive, using her abilities to their limits.
At present, Robin has matured and mastered control of her Hana Hana no Mi powers – 20 years have passed since she first acquired her abilities.
Why was Robin’s name recorded on the Bounty List when she was 8?
Robin’s hometown Ohara was an island where the world’s best history scholars lived. Robin was probably influenced by the fact that both her parents were archaeologists. She was a very smart girl, and even at only 8 years old, she was a gifted archaeologist. She was so gifted that the Ohara scholars awarded her with the scholar’s proof badge, something that had never happened before. Then Robin found out about the existence of the True History, ancient poneglyphs that the archaeology scholars were studying in secret.
For 800 years, studying the True History had been deemed a major crime by the world government. It was said that this was related to the possibility of the resurrection of dangerous ancient weapons, which were described in the poneglyphs. But the real reason was that the government was afraid that if the history was studied, facts related to the government would be uncovered, facts about the hidden history that the world government desperately wanted to keep secret. When the government realized that the Ohara scholars had learnt of the Historical Truth, they gave the Buster Call order and wiped out all the scholars along with the Ohara Island. Robin miraculously survived the attack, but since the world government knew that she had been studying archaeology, they put a 79 million beli bounty on her head and added her to the bounty records. Despite the fact that Robin really only wanted to study archaeology, she became a national criminal at merely 8 years old.
Why is Robin interested in the Lost history?
Robin received the Scholar’s proof badge as an archaeologist when she was 8, so you would think that she must have been very interested in history and archaeology from a very young age. At present, Robin is obsessed with the poneglyphs. She wants to make sure that the people who were trying to uncover the true history, people like her mother, who put in so much effort, and the scholars that were always nice to her, did not die in vain during the buster call. For Robin, uncovering 100 years of lost history, which the Ohara scholars sacrificed their lives for, is not just a simple field of interest, but a way for Robin to pay tribute for the scholars who lost their lives.
