Youngling Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #398 Joined: October 8, 2009	I will be training for a new job in the Elyria area for the next 10-12 weeks and being away from family will have a lot of time on my hands. Looking for a good place to throw. Has been a while since I threw regularly so cannot say what level I throw at. How do I find out? Where is a good place for recreational darting around Elyria? What about blind draws (weekdays) which would not be too intimidating for someone just getting back into it? Thanks for any replys. -Jack

VIP Posts: 143 Group: BOD Member #7 Joined: August 1, 2005	Jack, Welcome to the area. Elyria is a little bit west of where most of our steel tip dart events regularly occur. But if you are willing to travel east a little bit, you'll find plenty of options including our tournament trails events. Currently we have 5 different tournament trails events per week (see: Tournament Trails Info for details). Tournament Trails is open to all darters, although you have to be a CDC member to earn "trails points." But even as a non-member, I think you'll find tournament trails a fairly convenient way to get into some organized dart tournaments. Each tournament trails event generally consists of 1 singles event followed by a blind draw doubles event (although depending on the number of participants, we sometimes will run two singles events). In any event, trails is a great way to meet local darters where you get even more information on where to go to shoot. Also, our EVENTS CALENDAR provides our most updated list of upcoming events.
