Posts: 19 Group: Mummy Member #225 Joined: 02/05/08	On an unrelated subject, it's funny becuase I was thinking of some concept sketches and designs for armor used by the creatures in the predator films which is a passion of mine , becuase I love those designs and I was thinking of a helmet that sort of mimicked the predators mandibles underneath the helmet with blades portruding out of the helmet where the teeth would be on its face underneath. I saw this thread and I thought this might make for an interesting weapon with a few minor adjustments. The first changes I would make to make it more suitable for a this and not a predator film would be not making it a helmet but more of a contraption that just fits over the mouth, chin and the back of the head area with various hinges and copper rods that are fixated in the device leading into the villians mouth (which would be an equaly horrifying sight. I'd want his mouth to be open sored raw, red and green, diseased in apperance with litterally blackened teeth as one of the effects of wearing the device for centuries to murder people. Or maybe even possibly stainless steel teeth would be visually intresting . Sort of like that device that was fited over the victims heads from the original Saw movie. I would want it to look really rustic and dirty like that, Almost like old corrective head gear with the devices control being located with in the mouth of the individual. It should look like the person whom is wearing it would contract gangrene from it so it kind of enhances what how demented the person wearing it is with the contraption keeping the villians ugly malnourished rotted mouth open at all times when not in use. The blade mchanisms would as I said resemble some what the mandibles of the monster from the film predator with the two large blades being fixated to the bottom half of the contraption giving a slight potruding underbite and the top half would contain two slightly smaller but just as rustic and deadly as the bottom blades that would sheath open and close like scissors by the villian opening and closing his mouth. Sorry this was so long but I try to flesh out my ideas as if they were an actual working piece of machinery. I might post some skeches so people get the full idea.
