Honestly I think Mr. Bates would have been an interesting story arch to persue as the villian in Clock tower II . The whole dnamic of you being the enemy would make for quite an interesting and potentially innovative game had some one seen the potential it had . Imagine the game mechanics of a survival horror game where you're the bad guy and the good guy. My wheels are turning but they could have done something special with that.

I have to say once again scince the horror movie aspect of these games is what garnered my interest in the first place I would have loved a game that revolved around Geroge Maxwell , the masked knife welding slasher. It seems like the most logical move from the bobby and dan aspects of the other games, even more so then the stephanie antagonist. Think about it. Clock tower 1 USA potrayed scissorman as just that, a derranged man. I had assumed he was a deformed slasher in the same veign as Jason vorhees and michael myers. I didn't catch on to the child killer aspect becuase I hadn't known the history of scissor man in FF which is just as likley becuase it would have made it less of the who done it they intended for it to be.

I guess for CTII they we're too focused on trying to cash in to a certain extent on the residen't evil franchise by adding the needless drug enduced zombies into the equation. It really seems like it doesn't belong. Why do you need a supernatural element on top of science fiction one.
