Although if someone had only played CT2, it would be easy to think that there wasn't any predessor, since Anne, Rolla, and Lotte were never mentioned, and Danny didn't say anything about his mother or brother. Anyway, I'd still like to see a continuation over a remake, simply for the sake of seeing something new. Plus, what if it was a bad, sloppy remake and everyone hated it? That would NOT do well for a continuation to take hold. And yes Harkonnen, your statement on Americans seems quite true. Although then again, I'm under the impression that graphic horror films/games are not the best source of quality story content.
