Here are the rules and guidelines for my forum! I hope you have fun visiting my forum and make a lot of friends here! =D 08/18/08 - UPDATES: - Added Table of Contents. - Made Awards & Badges into their own post, sorry for the bump in the topic! ^^;; - Changed Fushigi Rockna to Fushimi since she opted for a name change. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [AVATAR SIZE LIMITS] - Avatars should be no bigger than 150 x 150. Posted Image [SIGNATURE SIZE LIMITS] - Signatures should be no bigger than 600 x 300, this applies to both images and text. Also try to keep your signatures 1 MB large at best, therefore I don't allow any huge animations or flash movies. If your signature is over the limit, please put it behind a Spoiler tag and place the rest of your banners, text, and images behind it. That way it doesn't interfere with the board, yet people can always click on your signature to read it. Any signature in violation will be placed in a Spoilers tag without warning. Posted Image [WARNINGS ARE "THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT!"] - This forum follows a "three strikes and you're out" when it comes to warnings. If the Mods or I see anyone violating the rules and guidelines, we will issue you a verbal warning. If we see you continuing your behavior, we will give you your first physical strike because you've failed to listen to the verbal warning. Once you've reached the second strike, we will be keeping a close watch over you. And anyone with three strikes are considered suspended or banned from my forum, depending on the severity. [DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS OR BOTS!] - If you see any posts by trolls or bots. It's just best to click on the REPORT button, and let the Mods or I know about it. We much rather prefer that you report them to us, than you fueling fire by replying to their posts. [RESPECT THE MEMBERS HERE] - I do not tolerate any discrimination, insults, or mistreating of the members of this forum. Treat them as how you expect to be treated and everyone here has the right to voice their own personal opinion. While it's possible that some may disagree with your views, but that does not give you the right to personally attack them. If you wish to continue your debates, do so by PMs or e-mails. [IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY MEMBER OF THIS FORUM] - If a member is stalking, harassing, or threatening you. Please PM the contents of their actions to the Mods or myself, and we'll take necessary action. If you have a problem with a Mod or think you were treated unfairly by one, please PM enigmaopoeia about it. If you have a problem with the Admin, enigmaopoeia, then please PM me and we'll talk. [NO INAPPROPRIATE POSTING] - I don't mind the use of vulgar language every now and then, but please refrain from any excessive use of profanity. Refrain from posting one liners such as "cool" or "lol", make your posts have some substance. Don't spam all of my topics. Try to not double post. Don't cross-post such as making two of the exact same topics in two different boards. Refrain from going off-topic in your discussions such as a topic about a movie suddenly changes into a thread about soundtracks. Try to not create topics in the wrong sections such as talk about video games in the "Granite Orphanage" introduction section, instead of the "Oslo Weekly" fandom section. Also avoid sparking controversial topics that deals with religion, politics, wars, and sex because they only lead to insults and flames. I don't mind a honest mistake, but don't let the Mods and I have to constantly fix your posts. I also may lock/delete topics with no warning. [NO ASKING OR POSTING ILLEGAL MATERIALS] - Do not ask, post, link, advertise, or upload illegal files such as warez, cracks, serials, keygens, and piracy. This also applies to posting extreme stuff such as adult images, pornography, materials depicting sex, videos, extreme violent contents, and other related materials. This rule also applies for every ROMs and MP3s, even those from the Clock Tower series, they are not welcomed in my forums. [PLEASE MARK YOUR SPOILERS] - Don't assume that everyone here has already played all of the Clock Tower games. So if you're about to give something away, I recommend that you mark your spoilers in the thread or in a link. This not only applies for the "Clock Tower Series" section, but the other sections as well including "Barton's Therapy Room" and the "Scissors Hospital". Let's be courteous to our fellow members, I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone. Remember that we do have Spoilers tag for you to use. [WARNING ABOUT ADVERTISEMENTS] - If you feel the need to promote something, please don't spam my forums and advertise at the "Oslo Weekly" section where they are most welcomed! [NO MORE TOPICS OR POSTS BASHING OBSCURENIGHTMARES / SYBERIAWINX OR HER FANSITE AND FORUM TITLED "BROKEN CLOCK"!] - Any topics or posts made here talking about ObscureNightmares / SyberiaWinx or her Fan Site and Forum titled "Broken Clock" in any ill manner, I will be issuing out warnings to the posters responsible. If the post or topic itself is severe or the poster continues to harass her, I will ban the person without notice.
