What if the next Clock Tower game didn't have a scissorman/scissorwoman? What if they instead replaced the scissors with something else instead? In Ghost Head, it was a giant butcher knife, and a kitchen knife. In 3, Sledgehammers, hatchets, spray pump (acid), and custom twin swords were used. As 3 hinted (IMO), the killer's weapon has a reflection of their original personality in some way shape or form. So if it's not scissors, what do you think should be the main weapon used in the 4th Clock Tower game? This could go into the area of character creation on the reasoning for the given weapon, but again this is just a "what if" topic.

One of the ideas I originaly thought was a whip. The killer would of been a lion tamer, who suddenly flipped and let loose the lions. During the panic, they wraped the whip around random people's necks, snapping, twisting and choaking them to death. Their rampage ended shot by the circus' ringmaster, while attempting to put the lions down. A few years later, the ringmaster (followed by various members of the circus troop) were found hung within the big top by a whip. While each case is clearly connected, the biggest problem is the whip itself. When cataloged into evidence, it disappears only to hang another person. As records indicate, it is the same whip used in the incident, even though it was thought to of broke during the rampage.

The other idea I thought of would of been an iron ball and chain. The killer of course is use to death and cruelty, just as much being use to forced pain and punishment. Having been locked away on death row, they lived their days behind bars until they go to the chair. Due to the acts committed, they were forced to wear chains and an iron weight, originaly thought to hinder movement. Then one morning, the prison's population had dropped a massive ammount, each inmate being savagely beaten with chain markings all over their bodies. Some of them were even ripped appart, though inspection shows that they were really cut to pices by massive amounts of force. That same morning, there was a reported escape of an inmate who was on death row. All that remained were a few pices of short chain, the inmate was never found.
