Blazer, I think it's called? But they look more like ordinary clothes than a school uniform. Besides, why would someone be wearing one when they're visiting relatives? (Unless they just came from school or something.) I don't think they look like normal clothes. A blazer, button shirt, plaid skirt, weird ribbon tie thing, and penny loafers aren't in style for regular clothes anymore. Maybe in the 80's, but not now. As for why she wore that, I'm with you, I don't see a reason to wear one unless you got back from school.
