I think Konami would have done a at least a little better at sticking to the source material, if not that, at least made it more fun to play control wise (Opinion only here, but to me Silent Hill has always been easier to control than resident Evil) Story wise I think they could have made it deeper and more interesting (Not that I've been far into the game, which is usually a good sign that the plot has not grabbed me, this is of course important for any game) than Capcom if only for the difference between Resident Evil and Silent Hill. And they probably wouldn't have made you deal with those Bleeping ghosts. Thinks of Silent Hill 4 ...Okay, you've got me there, but still, I feel it would have been more interesting in their hands.
