 I have to say that I am one of the few that thought initially when I read the name Shannon Lewis, that it was her first and middle name. ||| orz Her name just flow so well, that Lewis seem like a middle name to me. But now, I choose that Lewis is that of her mother's maiden name because seeing as how her mother was named in the Japanese version [Ryôko Midôshima], most likely her name was Ms. Lewis in the American version.

Heck, I don't even know why they even bothered with a surname in her name in the first place. Fujika didn't needed one when we read about her. So she could've just went by the name Shannon and no one would have thought to think twice about her. Unless they want to give her the surname to try to dissolve any predictions that she could possibly be related to Allen Hale.
