EDIT: I chose that Helen doesn't need a female love interest. While I think that the better choice is Beth out of all of them, somehow I personally see it as more that Beth would want to be closer to Helen, than Helen is with Beth. Beth just seems clingy and would be attached to someone who is much braver than her like Helen.
