Various producers and directors have been playing musical chairs with it, and no one has made any real effort on production. However, on the most recent bluff, it looks like they're serious. It's going to be a mix of CT2 and 3 (they can't seem to pick one), and it will have almost nothing to do with the games, complete with talentless actors, and lots of gore and secks. So it will be just like 90% of movies that are based on games." Except maybe the talentless actor part, since I haven't seen Brittaney Snow, or Milla Jovovich in anything.
