Well, funnily enough, I think most people know I live in Britain on here. But I distinctly remember seeing Clock Tower (Very first one) once in my local game store for PSX. I can't remember how long ago it was but it was years, my sis was all like "Oh man, I know some people on the internet who would kill for the original Clock Tower." But after that one time we never saw it again in there. But my point is, I don't think the game was ever outright banned in Europe. Don't forget that (Let's face it) the Clock Tower's aren't exactly huge sellers, and that's what occurred to me at the time I thought that because it wasn't overly popular and it was a classic for the fans someone probably bought it and that was that they didn't bother to get another copy. But from my experience I always thought that censorship laws were actually less strict in Europe and Britain than in the United States. Mainly because I remember one of my friends who had the game Postal II, which was banned in America... But not over here. |
Many thanks to Mori for making this sig and avatar for me! <3 | |
