As for SCEI, I played Forbidden Siren. I didn't think it was all that, the voices especially ruined it for me, made it way too laughable. However Rule of the Rose interested me, I never played it but I had heard very good things about it and read a lot about it, and a lot of people I know think that Rule of Roses really reminded them of Clock Tower 3. So I reckon they could do a good job with that!
No offense, but I don't know where they are getting the idea that Rule of Rose is like Clock Tower 3. o__O It isn't ANYTHING like it. In fact Rule of Rose kinda failed as a horror game (and not in just my opinion either, a lot of people weren't really scared by it). EXCELLENT plot (makes the game worth playing), but fail at horror and especially fail at combat mechanics. XD;; And I completely agree with you about Forbidden Siren, wasn't too into it. ^_^; Although the plot was rather interesting as well. I would still like to see what SCEI would come up with plot-wise for a Clock Tower game. However I would like to see what Konami would do with a Clock Tower game. You have a point, they would definitely make the bosses much better, but maybe they'd probably focus more on fighting more than hiding like the usual Clock Tower tradition. Well... Like I said, I never actually played Rule of the Rose, just from what I had seen/heard of it people said it was like Clock Tower, I can't exactly agree or disagree...
