I have no complaints... Capcom was okay. Human was better, but the others might have butchered Clock Tower to a pulp...
Thank "Yu" Kaze!

Konami! Konami is awesome!
I'd like to see Squaresoft do a Clock Tower RPG though.

Yeah, I'd like to see Square-Enix work on a horror game for once.

The year was 1999, HUMAN went bye-bye and the Clock Tower series was sold to CAPCOM. Some people have liked what Cappy has done with the CT series so far, and others hate it. But here's my question: How do you think the Clock Tower series would have been handled if some other company got ownership on it?

Hmmm... I wonder if any other company than CAPCOM would be snuffing around for golden ideas to spoil..

....uh....what about SEGA? They did house of the dead if that counts for anything. And OH SH-BLEEEEEP! I should've read this before I started on that one subject.

The Returned

If Bungie bought it, we'd have fourteen year old girls walking around in green armor with pistols.

If Nintendo bought it, we'd have fourteen year old girls in overalls jumping over shrooms.

If Rare had bought it, there'd be nudity in it. Or blood. Or both.

If I had bought it, Zero Fear would have been out eight years ago. >.>

Hmm... well...

Grasshopper (Suda 51): Horror, Tarantino style. Cel rendered scenes while running on a track, selecting directions at intersections (can hold down dirrection to go, in order to skip selection screen), tons of innovative hiding spots/tools for fighting back, even more wicked sick scenes of human torment. Something like Killer 7, but without the split personality assassin.

Tecmo's Team Zero: Hauntenly chilling settings with an unrelenting stalker, able to kill by touch. Every hiding spot used runs the risk of being found in spiritually disturbing ways. Not by the stalker, but by ghosts of past victims. They're out for blood, though some more than others. You're only chance at survival... no, not a camera, but spirit wards. What, you expected Fatal Frame?

Tecmo's Team Ninja: Main character appears to be mid or late twenties, and an option for cleavage control. Also expect the new character to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Dead or Alive X-treme 3, which takes place on a NEW Zack Island... this time located somewhere near Australia.

Hideo Kojima: Part of a secret government organization, a lone figure is sent in under cover to take down a terrorist cult which dabbles in black magic and the supernatural. Secure any/all weapons on site in order to accomplish your objective. For this operation, we will be giving you the code name...

Venus Snake *gets shot*

Silicon Knights: The story would span generations with bits of action worked into the game play. Instead of having to face the stalker head on, you go about your battle through the pages of time, as described in a book you uncover. Not only does this book affect your character physically, but mentally as well (which affects the rate in which the panic bar increases/decreases). Development of the game takes 6 years, and is then ported to a new system (which takes a couple more years).

Don't worry, I'll merge the two threads.

Ithink Konami.

Silent hill, need I say more.

I would say SCEI becuase rule of the rose and Siren were emuculate and surveyed the proper tone and atmosphere needed in a clock tower game but I can easily see that leading to another ASCII siituation where they make an emaculate game that goes absoulutley no where in terms noteriety, like clock tower 1 and 2.

I agree with scissorwoman + bloody mary - it'd be awsome for Square-Enix to take on Clock Tower!
