Have you ever come across something that totally reminded you about Clock Tower? Was it was from a game you've been playing? The last cartoon you've watched? Something you read that got you looking twice? Or something you remember from awhile ago that you finally made a connection to? Well, enlighten us and help post any Clock Tower sightings that you have seen outside the games by HUMAN and Capcom. Do note that the sightings can come in any form. Such as seeing someone with a giant pair of scissors, a title of a novel called Ghost Head, seeing a bunch of women dressed like Rooders -- basically whatever makes you feel that there is a connection. Pictures are greatly appreciated as it helps us see the sighting that you've saw! Now let's see these sightings and hopefully we'll see things reminding us of Clock Tower in the future! |

To start off, I was searching around the internet and I came across a Japanese animation series titled Rozen Maiden. While looking at a clip from YouTube about them, I was shocked to see a girl in the cartoon who reminded me of Bobby Burroughs, her name is Sôsuiseki. Sôsuiseki weilds a giant pair of scissors just like Bobby; wears and blue-and-white uniform similar to Bobby's; and she has a younger twin sister, like how Bobby is Dan's younger twin brother! I was a bit taken aback that how similar Sôsuiseki reminded me of Bobby, so naturally she would be my favorite character if I was into Rozen Maiden. Now if the appearance and scissors isn't convincing enough, I dunno what is!! Maybe one of her on top of a grandfather clock, which we could always think of it as the clock tower!! So now that we have a good first sightings, can you find any more? ^^;; |

What's funny is that I love Rozen Maiden... and Souseiseki IS my favorite! *laughs* *waves her little keychain* Personality-wise, though, Suiseiseki (the younger twin) is a lot more like Bobby. She doesn't think as much before going in head-first into situations. She's also very loud and has a short temper. Souseiseki is very calm and subdued, and is the voice of reason among the two. Clock Tower... hmm... well, let's see... of course there's Haunting Ground, but if you want to see a wonderful fight that takes place in the cogs of a clock tower, watch Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective". The final fight takes place inside Big Ben! It's so cool... <3 |

Eeep! Souseiseki is too cute! I'm about going to have to find some Rozen Maiden just to see her. I almost posted this once before, but it fits better here: I just finished a book, "The Thirteenth Tale," by Diane Setterfield, and it reminded me so much of Clock Tower. Margaret, an obscure biographer, gets a letter out of the blue from the most famous novelist in England: Vida Winter is sick of hiding the truth, and wants Margaret to hear it. The story Margaret hears is one of a family descending slowly into madness, secluded in a mansion away from the world. There are questionably-ethical psychological experiments, supernatural underpinnings, constant questioning of reality, and of course, twins, one of whom happens to be a shears-wielding murderer.* Oh, yeah, and there's a governess named Barrows. XD Heck, I'd recommend it just because it's good. But Clock Tower fans'll definitely appreciate the similarities. *I must confess that she never actually kills anyone with the shears, just rips up the garden with them. In fact, the major difference from CT is that "The Thirteenth Tale" is not very bloody at all; it's a different but equally effective kind of scary in which the grotesque parts are not ommitted, but told in such a bare-bones, reporterly manner your brain can't help but fill in the grisly details. |

Haha, that reminds me of when I told someone about Clock Tower after seeing their icon of Sôsuiseki! xD Anyway, have any of you seen Ouran High School Host Club? Well, a character from the anime, Tamaki, whom looks a lot like Edward. Similar uniform and everything! (Linked to fanart because I cannot find any screenshots at the moment.) Also, at my school, there's a secretary whom has the last name of Burroughs, my German teacher's last name is Bates, and the last name of one of my classmates is Simpson. |

Wow, keep it up with the sightings, these are a real treat!! JBurroughs: Seems that it's a rule of thumb that if you are a twin, one of you automatically must weild scissors!! The Lime: Tamaki is so spazzy, but he does look very much like a grown up version of Edward!! I wouldn't be surprised if his looks got him to become part of the Host Club. Except he'll be that "pretty boy murderer type", whatever that category would be. ^^;; Now I'm official scared of your school, Lime. |

Tee hee! From what I've seen of him, yes, I absolutely agree that he's spazzy! Edward would be a good replacement for him in the host club in appearance only. xD; Hehe, pretty boy murderer type. I wonder who would really want a host like that? As for my school, it's a digital academy, so I never really see any of my teachers; I just talk to them via e-mail and voice recordings. That would explain how Mr. bates/Shou could become a German teacher without people freaking out! xD; As for Mrs. Burroughs, my grandma's has babysitted for her kids for years, so I know she's not homicidal. As for her children, on the other hand, I'm not quite sure. |

I was shuffling through my mother's music and I found this song by ABBA titled, "Me And Bobby And Bobby's Brother". I just cracked up. Wow. Seems that a lot of things have some kind of weird CT reference to them. Anyway, I saw the craziest thing a couple of days ago. I was in one of the back rooms of the store that I work at putting some stuff away, when I noticed something really bizarre. There was a metal cabinet that had two words on it spray painted in black. CLOCK TOWER I just stared at if for about a minute because I couldn't believe what I was looking at. Like, why was that on there? I had to take a picture of it on my phone just so I know I wasn't imagining things. Strange. |
