After going to the video game aisle in a Wal-Mart today, I thought about something: What if Clock Tower 4 was released on the PlayStation 3? It's known that Resident Evil 5 is going to be on the system, so why wouldn't CT4 be on it as well? Things to talk about:

I selected "I'm going to buy a PlayStation 3, even if CT4 doesn't come out on it." As of now, I don't own a PlayStation 3 and probably won't until they have a game that caught my interest. Clock Tower 4 would just be a good reason for me to get the system. Would you buy a PS3 just for CT4, or would you buy other games for it as well? I obviously would buy other games for it, though it really depends on the selection. So far, the only game that I would buy for it would be Final Fantasy XIII & Versus XIII. That is the reason why I don't own a PSP because they have no games that caught my interest, so I hope that the PS3 doesn't suffer the same fate. Also, is the PS3 region free? I would hate to buy another PS3 for my importing needs, since I am a heavy importer. [Damn pop'n music games. ^^;; ] Do you think that CT4 might be on another system instead? (Such as Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, etc.) Somehow I doubt that Capcom would release Clock Tower on another system. If HUMAN was still in charge, I would see them jump on making a Clock Tower for the Wii because the point-and-click interface would work out greatly on it. Though I would like to look hopeful, I doubt that we'll be seeing a CT4. =/ |

I picked the first because it's closest to what I'd do... but not exactly. If I found Clock Tower 4 was to be a PS3 exclusive, and it was pretty much a certainty (I remember when RE4 was a Gamecube exclusive, after all), I would buy the game, and start looking for a good deal on the system. I can't pass, but I can wait. Edit: Oops: Would you buy a PS3 just for CT4, or would you buy other games for it as well? I'm sure there would be other games on it I'd want. Would you pass on CT4 if it was only on the PS3? Probably not. I say 'probably not' because, if it were too un-Clock Tower (ie, emphasis on combat instead of escape), I'd rent or pass no matter what system it was on. Do you think that CT4 might be on another system instead? (Such as Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, etc.) Actually, I think the best chance of us getting another Clock Tower is a handheld (particularly the DS). For some reason, companies seem more willing to release niche games on portables. But I'd like to see full-sized CT released on all three. |

If they did make a clcok tower 4, it would most likely be on the ps3. I voted for the second choice, or the last choice. The Playstation 3 is way too expensive and there are more games for the other two next gen consoles. |

I chose the second one. For one thing, a system with only one game gets little to no play time. If the PS3 actualy had games worth getting, oh and comes down to a more reasonable price, then just maybe I'll sink something into it. Would you buy a PS3 just for CT4, or would you buy other games for it as well? See above... Would you pass on CT4 if it was only on the PS3? I may end up doing that if they keep insisting on the ungodly price point. May come down when they make Blu-Ray more afordable, and/or ditch the inclution of the PS2 hardware after cracking software emulation for it's so-called backwards compatability (if not drop BC all together). So far, the PS3 is nothing more than a wanna-be George Forman Grill. Do you think that CT4 might be on another system instead? (Such as Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, etc.) I'm still pullin' for a DS Clock Tower game, though for CT4 I have to say the Wii. For one, it comes down to the popular system to develop for overseas. It may be PS3, though it may also be the Wii. The 360 is a long shot to say the least, though I wouldn't be shocked if there was a 360 version. Then again, who says it has to be a system exclusive? Etc. ... what... you're expecting more? |

When I said "Etc.", I meant talk about things that may be, well, realted to the topic. Like, what CT4 might be on other systems. Anyway, I chose the third option, bordering last. I'm not very interested in the PS3, but if a lot of cool games came out (and/or if the price was cut in half), I'd try to save up money for it and the games. |

Cool as a CT4 would be, I'd have to pass on the PS3. No way am I shelling out 600 dollars on a system I don't want just because of one game. Also, I plan to get a Wii by the end of the month, so... yeah. I do wish they'd make a CTDS or CT4 for the Wii, though. They'd be practically forced to go back to point-and-click! :P If they did make CTDS though, I'm not sure if I'd want a new one or a remake of CT1. |

I'm already planning on getting the PS3 when I get the chance. Unfortunatly, I think I spent too much of my PS3 savings and I might have to wait longer than I thought. |

honestly, NO. i prefer a wii version. will vbe much easier if it a point and click game. plus, a possible choice as an extra: use a MII as the main character. |

Actually, if it were to be a point and click game I would like for it to be on the Wii. Of course, I doubt it will be, in which case I'd prefer it slightly for the PS3, though either console would be able to pull it off greatly. |

Would you buy a PS3 just for CT4, or would you buy other games for it as well? I wouldn't buy that over pricy system just for one game, besides not many games are for it. Would you pass on CT4 if it was only on the PS3? Yes I would have to. Do you think that CT4 might be on another system instead? (Such as Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, etc.) If they made Ct4, I would like it to be a remake of the snes version, and I would like it for the 360(because that's the one I have) Though a point and click game would be ideal for the ds. |

As much as I would LOVE to see and play Clock Tower 4. The PS3 is just too much at the moment. Even I, have my limits when it comes to CT. |

Theres a $500 one and a $600 one. The only difference in price is the memory. The reason its so high on ebay is because people go out and buy the system for the retail price and then see it on ebay for a higher price. Its ridiculous. <_< |
