Hmm, I didn't know that about CT2 in america. Although if someone had only played CT2, it would be easy to think that there wasn't any predessor, since Anne, Rolla, and Lotte were never mentioned, and Danny didn't say anything about his mother or brother. Anyway, I'd still like to see a continuation over a remake, simply for the sake of seeing something new. Plus, what if it was a bad, sloppy remake and everyone hated it? That would NOT do well for a continuation to take hold. And yes Harkonnen, your statement on Americans seems quite true. Although then again, I'm under the impression that graphic horror films/games are not the best source of quality story content. |

I'd like to see a remake of The First Fear. The game was excellent, and I believe a hyped up remake of it, perhaps fleshing out the back story a little more, might be enough to get a widespread audience introduced to the original Clock Tower duology. I can only imagine the Barrows mansion with next generation graphics. It could be incredibly atmospheric and dark. It would be a surreal experience, and I believe it'd pave the way for CT(USA) to get remade, then possibly Ghost Head, if it were successful enough. It'd take a lot of publicity and a very solid game to do the trick, but I think the idea has a lot of potential. A sequel, as Harkonnen said, might be a little out of the blue at this point, since many people aren't even aware of the duology's existence, and some might not even know about CT3...but if things went according to plan with a solid remake, then in a few years we might indeed see a brand new sequel altogether, when the public interest and awareness of the series has been raised from having encountered the awesome original. |

Oh I totally want a sequel to Clock Tower 2 USA! But I don't want Bobby or Dan to come back. Except for maybe in the flashbacks or something. I want there to be someone new causing some ruckus. When I think about it, I picture Jennifer somehow running into this dude who like Mary Barrows became totally obsessed with this whole Scissorman thing. I mean, Mary is only a Barrows because she married Simon right? Don't women take on the name of their husbands when they get married? Anyway I got this from the the novel but Spoiler: click to toggle So I figured that maybe the dude could try to y'know rape Jennifer so Spoiler: click to toggle Or something like that. But that's just me. You guys probably ( or likely ) have thought of something better. |

Honestly....*looks around nervously* I think it would be cool if they just mashed up all the CT games into one. Like Alyssa goes to Norway after that ordeal in CT3 and meets Jennifer and keep going on with that. |

I'd like to see them do something with a new heroine and killer. I wouldn't mind seeing old characters if it were a remake of some kind though. As to the above, my problem with a Jennifer Alyssa being in the same game is that having more than one central character kind of offsets the atmosphere for me. I like horror games where the player is totally alone (except for the slasher.) I suppose it would be OK if one of the two girls disappeared around the beginning. |
