Posts: 259 Group: Granite Orphan Member #5 Joined: 05/04/06	Ok, just clicked the link of "The Moderatiing Team" and it said; Administrators: Bugashi, Enigmaopoeia & Lime Global Moderators: Karniz Forum Moderators: Phobos, Zeon Twilight & KazeTaco So, looking at this I thought "Oh, Bugashi and Lime are admins now!". However, in the main page, Lime (at least, I say Lime because he's the one online) has its name shown on Green (like the normal moderators), not purple like it should. Also, when I look at their profiles, the profile say "Member Group: Moderator". So, is this a problem of the "The Moderating Team" page, or re there 3 admins now? The file attached is a screenshot of the "The Moderating Team" page, where Bugashi and Lime are shown as admins. EDIT; another strange thing. While posting, in the part to attach a file, it says "Maximum file size: 8192mb". I don't know exactly the meaning of that number, because when I tried to upload a 200kb file, it said that it was more than what I was allowed to upload. I think the number should show exactly the maximum file size allowed for you, instead of... whatever it shows now. You may want to check that too ;)

Enig did this because of the recent troll attacks we've had, just in case either of us have to IP block a member when she's not around. Just to let you know!

Having access to the Admin Control Panes wouldn't make you admins? :P (in terms of what you're allowed to do, I mean). In any case, there must be a way to allow a user group to ban IPs, without making them appear as admins there. I mean, to avoid the confusion. There could be three groups like -Admin: Can do everything -Global Moderators: Can edit and delete messages & topics of anyone and in any part of the forum, ban IPs, stick topics, etc. -Moderators: Can edit and delete message in specific forums, stick topics there and so on. CANNOT BAN IPS. Or, there could even be four groups, like -Admin: Can do everything -Super Moderators: Can edit and delete messages & topics of anyone and in any part of the forum, ban IPs, stick topics, etc. -Global Moderators: Can edit and delte messages & topics of anyone and in any part of the forum, stick topics, etc. CANNOT BAN IPS. -Moderators: Can edit and delete message in specific forums, stick topics there and so on. CANNOT BAN IPS. Just some ideas.

'Sides, she'll probably take away our right to see the Admin CP once we know for sure that everything has chilled down.

Posts: 3,667 Group: Marquess Member #1 Joined: 04/23/06 Gender: Female ♀	GSR already stated that if they can use my Admin CP, they are Admins, but I only gave them that access just to ban IPs when I am not around. And Lime is right that once the troll threat is gone, I will disable the Admin CP for them. They are still Moderators nethertheless.
