DESHI. Posts: 1,600 Group: Hospital Director Member #32 Joined: 01/05/07	Okay, I've always been confused with Nancy's death. When exactly did she die? I thought at first that Harvey/Chopper killed her while she was driving to meet Alyssa, but then she appears after she saves the Rooders from the graveyard, and then there's that statue! So, did Dick turn her into stone or did Chopper end her life? Personally I think it was Harv who killed her, even before Alyssa got home. Why? Because when you see her in Corroder's stage she's SEE-THROUGH. .... That's just my opinion, though. What do y'all think?

Posts: 113 Group: Granite Orphan Member #138 Joined: 06/29/07	Out of all the times you see her ghost walking around, I figured it was just her spirit trying to help you out with each scenario that she shows up. When I first played the game, I obviously didn't know that she died yet, so I just thought that her spirit was somehow going through each point in time to help Alyssa with her budding rooder powers. Now I had no idea at all how she could've been doing that. Since I've beaten the game, I figure that Harv ended up killing her when she was driving to the boarding school or wherever to get Alyssa. The whole Dick turning her into stone thing could've been some sort of trap. I just can't see Dick/Loud Burrough's turning Nancy into stone himself because 1.) Nancy was his own daughter and he seemed very proud of her with her rooder abilities (even though Lord Burrough's take over his body at that one point in time he was still Dick IMO). and 2.) for the lame reason of saying that if Lord Burrough's had the power to turn people into stone, why didn't he do it to Alyssa (or try to) in the final battle? Just because he needed her heart? Bad arguments, I know.. Plus aren't all of the rooders you encounter in the cemetery made of stone too? How did that happen? Or are those just actual statues built in memory of them?

That dosn't really make sense. Technically aren't all the subordinates ghosts in the first place, and yet they are able to be killed.

Anne Fan Posts: 53 Group: Zombie Member #274 Joined: 06/11/08	Yeah, I believe that Nancy was killed while on her way to pick up Alyssa, and the statue was just for dramatic effect. Burroughs also might have done it to try and discourage Alyssa. I know I would feel really alone and powerless if my mother was turned to stone and smashed to pieces before my very eyes.
