DOLPHINATSU WILL KILL U!

I just have been thinking about this question after seeing an edit done on Wikipedia about it. I was wondering what do the members think of Bobby's face. Do you think that is really his real face, he was born deformed as noted by Walter in the Aeon Genesis' translation, "They were ill, their bodies deformed..." So according to Dr. Simpson, Bobby's face must be horribly disfigured. But when Barton examined Scissor Man's mask in Clock Tower USA, he said, "Scissorman's rubber mask... ... a kind sold in cheap novelty shops and seems to be fairly popular. People certainly buy stupid things." So it seems to hint that Scissor Man wore a mask instead of using his real face. So which do you think Bobby's real face is? According to the in-game graphics and the artwork from the guidebooks all show that Bobby has quite an unpleasant face: Posted Image |

Personally, I'm a bit torn. I am leaning more toward that it's really his real face, but there are parts of me wanting to think that it is a mask. But I voted for a real face in the end because after seeing the replica of the giant scissors that the Scissor Man used to weild. What is to say that people didn't make masks of what they believe is the face of the Scissor Man? We've seen masks of Freddy Krueger, Jason, and etc. Why can't he be in the mix as well. ^^;; |

I'm guessing Bobby's face is indeed horribly disfigured, but covered with the creepy mask Scissorman usually wears (I'd wear a mask too if I were that ugly XD) |

I was never one to take Barton seriously. Though I have thought about it, it always turns up as its actually Bobby's face and not a mask. Along with evidence in CT:TFF that indicates that hes deformed, and everything seemed normal except for his face. Though the movie Phenomena may not play a part here, even though it inspired CT, the killer had a deformed face and did not wear a mask. I always believed that the the mask in CT2 was a representation of the killer's (Bobby's) face and has grown popular on a count of the Scissorman 'hype'. Though thats just what I think. |

Who's to say he can't be ugly and hiding it behind a mask? I personally think his ugly (and yet I draw him like a regular shota boy most of the time...) but wears a mask still. He might actully acknowledge his ugly and wishes to hide it though I'm not sure why that would be since he kills anyone except family who sees him and I'm sure Mary isn't about to say her baby boy is ugly or plant that idea in his brain. Though somewhere in the back of my mind I don't think Mary went out and bought him a mask, I kinda think he might have made one on his own in his spare time (Leatherface anyone?) and might have wore it. Since he does show some childish side to him it might actually be part of a game... As for the mask, ya'll could be right. Someone might have heard about the Clock Tower things just a few days after Jennifer was rescued and then decided to make a bit of money off it by making 'Scissorman' masks and claim the real Scissorman wore it. I don't think that's the case but thinking of possible cases is fun to do. I personally think it was Bobby's old mask they found at the old house and people probably saw it somewhere and just mass produced them. There's a bunch of possible theorys. He could be ugly. He could be just a normal kid with a mask. Or he could be a ugly kid with a mask. Plus, listening to some people's theorys or what they think is fun. I personally think it's up to the player to think of what it really is. Sorry for rambling. I'll shut up now |

When I first played the game the creepy, seemingly inanimate and permanent smile on Bobby's lips gave me the impression that he was indeed wearing a mask (a bit like the Toy Man villain from the Superman animated series) : Posted Image Upon playing more of the game and eventually reaching the climactic ending in the clock tower I noticed that Bobby's facial features actually do change as he is clearly in pain and frowning when the clock bells go off, when he is attacked by the crows et cetera. So I vote that he is indeed deformed, likely since birth or through thorough child abuse and bad hygiene around the house. |

I believe that he is ugly deep inside. mainy: second row, bottom picture. I believe that is what he actually looks like, and the mask might just be some normal scary mas that he wears. |

Here's my opinion: I think that the Human guys..while producing The First fear, had the intention to "create" a real face Bobby (no mask) then, In the First PS game of Clock Tower the producers changed idea to make the *Spoilers* "Dan is not what he looks like" *End Spoilers* Trick works :) Personally i'm gonna vote Real Face also because the Human guys, heavily inspired by Phenomena, made Bobby without a mask, just like the child of that movie! |
