The Returned Posts: 882 Group: Detective Member #135 Joined: 06/26/07 Gender: Male ♂	Okay, call me crazy, but right now, I'm thinkin' the best way to get these CT4 Ideas to Capcom, is collect them all into one place Probably a word document and get someone Not namin' names to email someone at Capcom and say: "Hey. We've got a crap load of Clock Tower 4 ideas. Here they are. You'd be awesome if you picked one and did it!" And then inclose and E-Check for a couple hundred bucks, fronted by all the DCJ memebers. Hey, I'm sure we can all spare ten or twenty bucks for the good of CT fans everywhere! I know, I know, I'm a douche. I'm just gonna laugh myself outta the room, now.

	The Reasons Clock Tower And Resident Evil Can't Be Crossed Over: 1. Alyssa would pwn all the zombies. 2. Bobby would probably kill someone. It's his job. 3. Jennifer would solve the puzzles in minutes. AND 4. Bates owns Wesker and that is that. What would be a better idea, if anyone thinks themselves capable of doing it, is preparing a whole pitch for Clock Tower 4 complete with script, storyboards, concept art and ideally some test footage or videomatic material showing what the game engine should be like, and actually selling the idea to capcom, making a few dollars in the process. The psychology is that if capcom is GIVEN money randomly they probably won't do anything. If they can be convince to COMMIT money to a project, it will be in their own interest to develop it.

Not just a couple hundred internet fans - the GENERAL public has to be willing to shell out $50-60 on a new game in order for them to even THINK about producing another. I've seen Clock Tower 3 called a "financial failure" on more than one occasion, and it sold at least a couple hundred thousand copies. The only other way would be for a smaller company (smaller than Capcom) to somehow receive the rights to the game. Because in that regard, even if the game didn't sell all THAT well, it'll be easier for them to make a profit because 1) they wouldn't be spending all that much money on producing the game to begin with and 2) they probably wouldn't be manufacturing as many copies, learning from the previous releases... BUT - how stupid would Capcom be to sell the rights to Clock Tower? The series has potential to be better than the last two games, and they know that. So if THEY'RE not going to spend millions developing another title in the series, then why on earth would they give the series to another company? It would be too big of a risk on the off chance that another company would do better with the series than they did and it would only create competition for their own horror games in the long run. They're smarter (from a business standpoint) to sit on the series until they feel like releasing another game, if that ever happens. The BEST chance for another Clock Tower game (and I say this in all seriousness) is the movie. If the movie turns out to be good and does decent at the box office, then maybe interest will return to the series, demand for another game will increase, and MAYBE we'll see another game. And Capcom HAS to know this as well - otherwise why would Haruhiro Tsujimoto be attached to the project?
