XD See in this beta image from Clock Tower 3 when it was still in the works: Posted Image Although the designs look very similar to May and William Norton, but by the time that screenshot was released, there was not even a mention about introducing the Nortons to Clock Tower 3. The caption below the screenshot shown here [Posted April 11th, 2001] states, "Although this is a warming scene, afterwards it becomes a tragedy of fear..." The screenshots of May did not start coming up until September 9th to 10th, 2002. That's 16 months for them to start changing around the designs and such. They also had a "Jack the Ripper-esque" Darkness Follower which his hook was later replaced by a cane. Who is to say that they didn't changed her design? Also I remember reading a long time ago when they were still in the initial process of making Clock Tower 3 that they were going to do it as that you were playing as Alyssa when she's a young girl and then as you progress further, she ages to the Rooder she is now. So I would only assume that would be Alyssa as a young little girl, before they scrapped her design to make her May Norton instead. Don't quote me on this, it has been a while, but that is how I remember it. ^^;; I may or may not be right if this is really May or a very young early design of Alyssa. But if you think it's May, that's cool. I see her as the young Alyssa. We can all agree it's a young girl with her father.

If only they had stuck with that... but then again I guess that would've made the game too long, eh? XD That's really cool that they were able to re-use the design, though... it's a really cute one. ^o^

Then, go to "Edit Avatar Settings", then "Pre-installed avatars", and they'll be- ... Wait, the regular pre-installed avatars are there. O_o Huh. What happened to the custom ones?
