Long story short, her and another use to be moderators back when DCJ's forums first started. However, after a prolonged amount of time of inactivity, they were de-modded. ObscureNightmares did not take too kindly to this action and began spreading fictitious accounts of attacks, as well as this place being a haven for "hackers and trolls". Because of this, ObscureNightmares' has been banned due to unreasonable claims, which have been on the border of slanderous and threatening at times. ObscureNightmares' has also perpetuated violent acts on the subconscious level against not just DCJ, but other forums and websites. Among the more noteable of ObscureNightmares' antics have been constant vandalism and invalid Wikipedia entries. Though she has made the claim that it isn't her, there is massive evidence to suggest otherwise. Anyway, this is a bit of a touchy situation due to past events. I've tried to give the short version of the answer while trying not to list any names, aside from the person being asked about. If anyone wants to add something, they may do so. HOWEVER, I will have virtually NO TOLERANCE if anyone attempts to turn this post into a flame war on any level.

You must be strong, you must control yourself Leaving what she did to me aside, when you administrate a forum that is dying, if you don't care much about it you can let it die, if you do care about it you can try to resurrect it. I learned that some people can actually do anything to try to bring their forum back to life, even saying shit about other people and forums. And it's not only the lies she said about DCJ to try and get members post in her forum instead of in this one, there are many people that aren't from this forum but that hate her too and THERE IS a reason for that. In any case, unlike other admins I THINK that enig doesn't like using threads of the forum she admins to say bad things about other people (despite these are actually true), so probably (and maybe sadly) this thread will not last long open. One last thing, I'm saying this and regardless if you believe me or not, I know what I'm talking about. I was one of the first and most active members of the CT forum obscurenightmares administrates, and later realized that even despite being like a year (or more) talking with her, I knew extremely little about her. If any mod/admin finds this post too offensive, I will not get angry if you delete it. However, I did all I could to write a post that -despite saying some facts- didn't offend anyone.

I have made a post back in February asking for the current Mods I had, one which was ObscureNightmares, to reply to a mandatory post in which to account for their activeness in my forum. I have given the three Mods a total of 11 days to reply, as that I was taking my vacation, or I will de-mod them as stated in the topic. I have only received one reply and the person has kept their position as Moderator, therefore I have de-modded the two members. ObscureNightmares right away PM me after that stating that I was unfair as to de-mod her, even though I gave her an ample amount of time to reply to my topic. She stated that I should have e-mailed her about this so she can respond in time, but if I was looking for active Mods in my forum. Wouldn't it seem pointless for me to hunt down my Mods to force them to reply in my forum? If that was the case, why would I even bother making a mandatory Mod activeness topic in the first place? After that, there has been some bad blood between us. This resulted in her dishing out not only my character, but the forum in general calling it a place for "hackers and trolls". Stating that I have used underhanded means to get people to stop going to her forum and onto mines. And bugashi pretty much covered the rest, and I don't want to sound like a broken record here. And to also reiterate with bugashi, if this turns into a flame war, I will issue out physical warnings to the people involved. EDIT: Ikary, your post is fine. It would not get deleted.

But, she's the admin over at Broken Clock, she said one of the members on her forum spread ficticious rumors about her and was calling her nasty names on other forums. And on here, she makes ficticious accounts and insults this forum.

So far, there hasn't been any extra accounts directly linked to ObscureNightmares (that I know of), though we have had trolls and spammers. There have also been dust-ups between members in the past over events at Broken Clock, though some of them seem to stem from "he-said-she-said" accounts. Regardless, there's been nothing to actually go into ObscureNightmares making extra accounts just to attack DCJ. As for an IP ban, I have reason to believe that ObscureNightmares already knows how to get around it in some way shape or form. A better way to deal with them would generally be the same as many idiots who constantly insult and bash without reason. "Don't feed the trolls". Of course, they're already banned from here, but do remember in case they (or someone else) somehow pop up and start trouble.

Sadly I found out how she really was a long time after meeting her (and after posting lots in the forum she admins, downoading music for her, helping her with graphics, and, of course, believing many of her lies :P ) Anyway, what's done is done, there's no point in regretting it :P
