I wonder how the game would have been like if there was a 'special feature' at the end, where you get to play as Simon? Anyway, I'm still undecided on this one, but I wouldn't vote just yet, I might change my mind... |

Ahhh.. well.... While i WOULD have liked to see that guy survive and regain his sanity and stuff... I agree with just about everyone else, that man is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG gone. 9 years of being stuck in a cage w/o proper nutrition by your own wife, knowing that your kids are a pair of homicidal demons? It would be a darned blasted MIRACLE if he regained his sanity... |

It would've been nice if he had been saved, but come on, that guy would be a wreck for the rest of his life. Giant orphan-eating purple baby, evil little kid with scissors, evil wife...I myself would need some INTENSE therapy to even BEGIN to get over that. |

I think it would have been interesting if Simon could be used as an evasion point after the ham scene, but otherwise, he should probably die. I'm somewhat bewildered at how he managed to survive for nine years, though. I have a theory as to how Simon COULD die not by Hunger/Thirst. What if Mary found out that Simon spilled the beans about everything when she regained consciousness? She had a shotgun with her, so she didn't have to go out of her way to kill him. :3 |
