ALYSSA! I've become a Subordinate!

Ouch. I've got no problems with the reviewers and I like Jason X well enough, but the factual errors... just ouch. I know Clock Tower is obscure, but I had no idea it was so obscure people didn't know Scissorman was important to the plot. While we're comparing things to Tomb Raider, making a Clock Tower movie without Scissorman is like making a Tomb Raider movie without Lara Croft. He's that important. So, by the way, is a relatively helpless main character. There's no room for commandos in this series. You can get a better idea of what Clock Tower is about than that by reading its Wikipedia article. <_<

Oh, I know that Capcom was the developer; I just seem to recall that the same development team within Capcom that made Clock Tower 3 also worked on Haunting Ground.

I also wish all speculation about Duff would die; horror doesn't match with her image, and the rumors have absolutely no basis in fact.

Wasn't it...SunSoft and Capcom? *Checks for box under bed* Yup, it was. Haunting Ground was a fun game. I only rented it, though.

And YES! Someone stop it with freakin Hilary! My view on it personally? This:

Yeah. Seriously, please. Enough. Hilary can NOT DO CLOCK TOWER!!!

No, there was a specific development team within Capcom (or Sunsoft) that worked on CT3 and HG. It wasn't just the same company; it was the same creative team within companies.

My problem with Duff isn't her acting ability; it's how these rumors have literally nothing to support them and yet continue to be discussed with even a shred of credibility.

Oh. I get you now. Alrighty. Still, my problem with Duff is that I just can't see her in a horror flick. And yes, there really isn't any proof. Like the evidence that there was going to be a 4th Clock Tower, yet there was no evidence to back it up. Darn it, Capcom...

University Staff Housing - Landlord (Helen, pay the damn rent)

The idea of Hilary Duff doesn't bother me so much - though I can totally see them toning down the movie content to PG-13 just to keep the Hilary fans going to see the movie.

But many times actors of that type are surprisingly good in unfamiliar types of roles. I've never been a Robin Williams fan, but I LOVE his serious roles...I recently saw Dane Cook (whom I can't stand) in the movie Mr. Brooks, and he was very good. It was surprising. I think sometimes people do better when they're outside of their comfort zones.

Either way she's likely not gonna do the movie anyway, so wuhzuh.

Me too! I ussually hate Robin Williams movies been when he's the villain(he plays great villains) or an actual serious role, he's very good. Like in "Insomnia" with Al Pacino, Hiilary Swank, and Robin Williams.

Capcom was not the developer, they published.

Sunsoft created Clock Tower 3.

Sunsoft did not touch Haunting Ground. Capcom's Production Studio 1 developed Haunting Ground.

All of that stuff is pretty confusing. I don't know what Capcom did for Clock Tower 3...Did they finance it? Or just finance the shipping of the game? I know they suffered losses for the games pitiful sales though. So I'm thinking they financed the whole project?
