The reason I hate Anne is not looks, she's the second best looking of the orphans, but I have one rule that goes with life. "Better be alone and happy, the with someone and miserable." Anne's a bitch, quite frankly. Her personality makes her very unlikable. If Anne wasn't such a mean-spirited bitch, I could like her more. So, if you want to narrow the results down, the proper thing to ask is either "Do you like Anne's personality" or "Do You like how Anne Looks". Anne's hot. I won't deny it, and I think a nice Latte would do the body good, but right now, her personality is a HUGE turn off for me.

But in the game herself she only has like what...4 lines? And only one of them could be consider bitchy (if anything I would call it cynical and a little teasing rather than bitchy) I don't like her because she's hot. I like her because I happen to like egotisical characters. They make for interesting characters sometimes. I rest my case by pointing to Asuka Langley Sohryuu and then Haruhi Suzumiya. Mind you, both of these characters are far more developed than Anne was but they had whole series to develop. Anne had four lines. Oh, and I'd like to mention that both of those girls are as popular AS SHIT in the anime world and they're well known bitches. =/ And also about the profile...I tend to take those things with a grain of salt. Case in point, the Fullmetal Alchemist anime profile books. There's a few bits of information in there that I had to do a double take with because it just did NOT add up with anything in the series. This piece of information being that Falman was Hughes' subordinate and begged to be Roy's subordinate after Hughes kicked the bucket, but Falman has pretty much been Roy's subordinate since they transfered to east HQ, (what he begged for was to follow Roy back to Central) so WTF. there were other strange pieces of info too but I won't get into it because it's me being an FMAtard. And as for what Hifumi Kouno said...he also said Laura was a bitch too. So how do we feel about her? If Anne had called Jennifer a cuntface right to her in that scene, I'd be hatin'. But she didn't. X3

X3 I pretty much completely agree with everything you've said, but would like to add neither the profile nor the letters say she's cruel. The profile says's she's selfish and spoiled; that only tells us how she views herself. The letter said that she and Jennifer didn't get along. But I distinctly remember her running to Jennifer with her arms open in two of the endings, and I distinctly don't remember the ending where she throws Jennifer in the path of Ms. Mary's attack so she can get away herself. They chat politely enough while they're waiting for Mr. Burroughs. I liked all the orphans, and I'm only sorry the lot of them didn't get more screen time.

Because when I first played this game I liked Anne because she was pretty. Well, I mean, the game was in Japanese so I had no idea whether she was really nice or mean or what. The translated version didn't even come out for another year or so. And then when the Clock Tower RPG was going on, Caribbean Blue was damn good at roleplaying Anne. She was brilliant. Her story was brilliant, too. It was sorta like Xeno's love for Jen x Lotte but here it was pretty much Jen x Anne. The story played out as if Anne had survived ala the S ending. There were just so many things that made me like the character. But then the more I read after coming here I realized that Anne was really intended to be the "bitch" of the game, hence why she likely dies so much. Her first response to you in the game is so sarcastic and she doesn't even answer your question. I really didn't like her after that. But lately, after I made my Aventures video I started playing more to make the CT Deaths video and I was thinking..she isn't that bad. Because I mean she's an orphan, and one of the sad things about CT is that all four girls have such mysterious pasts and it's hard to know what made Anne turn out that way. And being a bitchy teenager doesn't make you a bad person because it's something to grow out of...but Anne never gets the chance. So I think that since it's impossible to know why Anne is that way...I won't hold judgment on her.
	i can is also jennifer's friendse now!? LOL LOTTE YOU TOMBOY.

When I first played and she teased Lotte, I didn't think it was anything big (and I still don't) because it was a harmless tease. She didn't say anything like "You're such a sissy, Lotte, you dumb tomboy craphead", all she said was "Heh, Lotte's paranoid." And other than that, she has no other lines unless it's one word (besides The main hall's gigantic). And, she's pretty. So yeah, I like her.

Egotisical and selfish doesn't nessecarily equal cruel after all. Also, egotisical and selfish doesn't always equal bitch. Back in high school one of my closest friends happened to be egotisical and selfish along with spoiled. Ya know, typical teenager. There were times when she was a bitch, but sometimes it was justified like when she treated my ex boyfriend like shit because she thought he was controlling over me. (and it turns out , she was pretty close to the truth) Yes she was sometimes mean (I still don't like how she hid my bag on me once. There was $200 in there and my DS, cellphone and iPod! ;_; ) but she was a friend when it counted and helped me during some tough situations and stood up for me when people were doing me wrong. That's why I stuck with her despite her flaws. So I don't think it's fair to judge 'egotisical and selfish' characters as being bitches.

Truthfully, I like Anne, but like with ehraclyde, she is my least favorite of the orphans. Anne is a very pretty girl and she does show signs of a girl in her mid-teens, I basically view her as how Fushi talked about that girl she knew in high school. She may be selfish, egotistical, and whatever. But she will be there for you, that is how I see her relationship with Jennifer. Obviously Jennifer would be the second person on her friend list [Rolla obviously being her best friend.], but she will be there for Jennifer if she needed it. I would say that Anne's attitude could most likely chalk up to her being blunt. That is how I see her, her bluntness may be view as being bitchy to others. Basically, I dunno what I'm saying. But I like Anne. ^^;;
