Because I was actually under the impression it was a nickname for her, I thought her full name was Charlotte. I had a friend called Charlotte, she sometimes shortened her name to Lotte, or Lottie. Bloody wench never talks to me anymore though...

I know her name in katakana is ロッテ (rotte, pronounced ro-ttay) but I've read that Lotte is a German name, and Germans pronounce their e's like a's, so wouldn't it be pronounced like Lotta? Or can it be pronounced differently? confused (I just figured this out and thought that this would be the most appropriate place to put it.)
