You can also find the chatroom on the main forum page underneath the link to the Don't Cry Jennifer (Fan Site). ^^;; To get in, just type in your username and any password that you would like. [Remember your password so you can login again!] You don't really have to register at all! ^^;; Just do note that your DCJ username may be used, so you might have to change it to something else!

Lucky Member #7 Posts: 881 Group: Subordinate Member #7 Joined: 05/17/06	A little extra info, just to let others know before the flood of "how do I do this" questions. This room works very much like an IRC room. To change names (to role play and such), you'd type /nick [name]. So, for example /nick Amy would change your current name to Amy. You can also emote by typing /me at the beginning of the line. Sadly, there are no dice to roll, so role playing will generally be more acting than dungeon crawling and dice chucking (no d20's in here, sorry). There may be more things you can do, but those are it off the top of my head. Also, if you want to register your name (to make it your own to have and to hold and to luv and all that mushy cyber junk), double click on it under the name listing and set a password for it. You don't have to change it, you just have to enter it. It doesn't even have to be the same as your password here even.

Your name is probably already in use by other people using the program (not our chat per say, just the same site) Use any name and it'll still work. (you don't need your DCJ username and password at all. Some random person got in after all during the chat xD)

EDIT Strange, I was somehow able to change my name to Bobby in the chat using the /nick command. EDIT again No, I was kicked out for doing that. Never mind. People will know who is me.

I don't like how the window doesn't pop up when someone sends a reply though, and that it doesn't make sounds either; it makes multi-tasking a pain. I also dislike how it censors bad words, too. Like, the f-bomb is "love", the s-word is "poop", etc. The substitute for the n-word has to do with lynching and THAT ISN'T COOL. Oddly enough a certain other f-word and the short form of it aren't censored. Those homophobes. D: [/end rant] But yeah, the chatroom was a neat idea, Enig! Hopefully it'll let the people who don't have AIM join in on our wacky conversations.
