I got limegreen.. ME NO WANT! (No hard feelings Lime.. Right?) I donīt like the new colours.. Yes they are too bright, YES they are too confusing for me <_> |

I like the colors. Would it be possible to add text shading as a decoration to the text in the usernames? If so it wouldn't matter how bright the colors were (I've never operated a forum and don't know how adaptable they are to style sheets). |

Looked at the "board statistics" part and what first came to my mind was Posted Image I don't mind much, but if I had to choose I'd choose the names to be the same colors as before (that was black for all normal members, wasn't it?); -The colors are too colorful (:P), they bother me when I'm reading, and they may not be as easy to see as normal black text. This may be because I'm not used to seeing it this way, though. -Not only I think they don't look CT-related (considering CT was a dark game about a murderer, instead of a game about rainbows, butterflies and acid trips), but I also think they don't look too good in the skin. -The differences between common members, moderators and administrators are not as easy to see as they should (bleh... in fact if it was for me, all members would have their name in the same color, but of course this has to do with tastes). For example, if one knows that black=normal member, green=mod and blue=admin, it's very easy to distinguish between these kind of membes by only looking at their name for a second. However, if common members come in completely different colors depending only on their posts, the difference in colors ends up being useless (not helpful as before, since most times you can't tell if the difference in color is because the member is a mod/admin/banned or because it has more posts). I don't know if I get to explain myself here... For example, what could be better in my opinion (but still I probably wouldn't like) would be to make admins=blue, mods=green, and normal members=different shades of a color. Since all members would be for example, in different kinds of red, it would be easy to distinguish between one normal user (in any kind of red) and a mod (since mods would be the only ones using green). Anyway... In any case (and please don't take this as an offense, I'm just giving my opinion), I think that the color change isn't only a bit useless, but that it can also slightly bother some people. Black looks nice, black is easy to see... and in the end, the most important things of a forum are -in my opinion- those. Too many colors in a page like a forum never tend to look good. But that's just the opinion of someone who doesn't even come here that regularly, so pay more attention to those who actually are in this place more time :) |

I feel sorry for all the hard work that was probably put into getting these board colors right and to work, but I have to agree with Ikary; they're simply too colorful and detracting from the boards. And when I look at the bottom to see whose online, my eyes hurt from all the colors entering my retinas at once. It's just not conducive to an enjoyable forums experience. |

I am changing the colors back to basics after some thinking about the posts which I have read, and I am always changing around and trying out new ideas for this forum. At least it was something different for us to experience. ^^;; I just kept the color changes for the special rankings of the forum, but the members with higher priorities would have their names bolded such as bugashi, Lime, and myself. Donators and Karniz now have their ranking titles unbolded. |

Donīt get me wrong, itīs always a nice idea to experiment with different stuff. Some things just arenīt as succesfull as other things. |
