Which death in Clock Tower 3 saddens you the most?

DOLPHINATSU WILL KILL U! Posts: 3,667 Group: Marquess Member #1 Joined: 04/23/06 Gender: Female ♀	I was wondering what death in Clock Tower 3 saddens you the most? There are a lot of deaths in this game, but which one really pull a tear out of you? Or if not made you cry, but you really felt compassion for them. I am not counting the many times Alyssa died. Or do I count the deaths of Rinda/Linda's and Nancy's because we don't know HOW they died. I also do not count Sledgehammer's, Corroder's, or Chopper's deaths because they don't really have a cutscene of their death; only those that do count are deaths of the Scissor Siblings and Marquess/Lord Burroughs. So I want to know, since we don't have a poll like this. ^^;; If there is a death I'm missing, please let me know!

DESHI. Posts: 1,600 Group: Hospital Director Member #32 Joined: 01/05/07	When I first saw the pendulum go down on Dennis (until the obvious doll-stuffing came out) I freaked. I was so worried that Alyssa had lost her best friend, and that made me jump the most. I was so relieved to realize that it was only a dummy.

Since she most likely had an encounter with the Scissor Siblings (with Scissorwoman knowing how she looked and sounded like and all; I just now thought about that), it's to be assumed, but I never thought she did. I always thought that they never met, and that Scissorwoman was able to successfully mimic her some other way... Ah, now I'm rambling.

Hiding amongst Amish Posts: 1,066 Group: Hospital Director Member #68 Joined: 03/11/07	I haven´t played the game, and I haven´t seen all the deaths, so I won´t come with anything in the poll. But I don´t think that the scissorsiblings killed Linda, since their target was Alyssa and not Dennis. I know that they also tried to kill Dennis to get closer to Alyssa, but killing Linda so they knew what she looked/sounded like to get closer to Dennis so they could kill him so they could get closer to Alyssa just seems too much of a fuss to make out of a situation where you just have to kill someone with a magical bow that she only uses in an open arena like area... Rule #1 for all Subordinates... Stay the heck away from open arena-ish areas! They´re just the motivation that the Rooders need to fight back X_X

Posts: 1,005 Group: Hospital Director Member #85 Joined: 03/20/07 Gender: Female ♀	It's a tossup between William, May, and the Lands, the only one's that I really felt sad when I saw them. I guess I'll choose William, his was a very dramatic and horrible death. And I agree with Jeb, Subbie's should stay out of courtyards, main hall's, and other assorted open area's. :P EDIT: Enig, I'm pretty sure that Nancy died when the statue was smashed to pieces, cause I think that was her. (please corect me if I'm wrong, I really haven't played the game in a long time, so I don't remember)

I never realized it was him until I heard the chime of his pocketwatch and then I was like, "Oh no, poor May!!" To be able to die on the battlefield, leaving your daughter behind unknowning of your fate just made me really sad and I felt for the Nortons. As with Rinda's case, I dunno, but it confuses me because Dennis did wrote a letter to his sister which stated, "How's Africa? ... When you get back ... Just another 6 months. It'll go by in a blink!" [SOURCE] Was Rinda still in Africa by that time? Because I dunno, if I was Dennis, I'll be a bit skeptical to see my sister come back from Africa so early...

That is why Alyssa felt so depressed after Marquess/Lord Burroughs smashed it in front of her. Hoping to let her morale be diminished knowing that her mother was gone for good, but unfortunately, it only made Alyssa stronger. ^^;;

Edgeworth's on the verge of Panicking Posts: 445 Group: Newspaper Reporter Member #213 Joined: 12/10/07	Scissor Woman. Her death was so sweet, and sad at the same time. The first thing I recall about that was as she died, I thought "Oh god, now Rudy's gonna God Mode the crap out of me".
	The Reasons Clock Tower And Resident Evil Can't Be Crossed Over: 1. Alyssa would pwn all the zombies. 2. Bobby would probably kill someone. It's his job. 3. Jennifer would solve the puzzles in minutes. AND 4. Bates owns Wesker and that is that. "I see number four as a perfectly good reason to make a crossover!"-Me "Give me back my cow!" -My sister, upon having to chase me around the house to get back her stuffed plush... of a sheep. XD;;;

I mean to suddenly be attacked and murdered by your own father-in-law without any real indication it was coming, not to mention the brutal way he went, is just really mean spirited. Not to mention when Alyssa got to see it first hand which made me feel really sad for her too. It was definitely a grim scene that had no relieving closure to it. Philip didn't get to be reuinted with anyone or be set free from what happened to him unlike most of the other victims. So it is this reason I do pick Philip, not to mention I just have to be different damnit. :P

Knowing that he died before May's performance made it worse for me. The Lands death is the only scene in any horror game I've played that horribly upset me. Just that how terrified they were and thinking how painful that would have been.
