Enig and I had talked about this well over a year ago when she showed me all the concept art from CT3 she was putting in the gallery area but I figured I might as well share this bizarre little story with the rest of you. Well, back in 2002, I was highly anticipating the release of Clock Tower 3 in the next year. One night, when I went to bed, I had a very weird dream where I had somehow obtained a beta copy of CT3 and began to play through it. The graphic style and look of Alyssa were pretty much down pat to the final game (but that's not surprising because screenshots had been released by this point). What was really freaky is that suddenly I was being chased around by some anthropomorphic bug assailant that was crawling all over the walls. No matter where I ran, this thing kept steady pace with me and it was pretty intense. Flash forward to late 2006 (at least I'm sure it was 2006), Enig is showing me some of the unreleased concept art for the subordinates. When she shows me Corroder's concept art, my jaw about dropped to the floor. Despite a couple minor differences in my dream, it was pretty much exact to the bug-like assailant I dreamt about. No, I am not making this up in any way. Like said, there were a couple little differences but it was still weird. I guess I can safely say I dreamt of Corroder's concept form before I was aware of it. :P |

Oh, I've had LOADS of Clock Tower dreams, but not many ones quite like that. I think why I probably had that dream was because I was so psyched to play a new CT game since I was a rabid little fanboy who needed a fix. I have had some other CT3 dreams where I was chased around by Bludgeoner (that's what I like to call Sledgehammer) and some of the other subordinates but they were in different settings. Maybe sometime I'll write up some more of my dreams (since I've had so many Clock Tower based dreams anyhow) to share with you all. I seem to still recall my very first CT dream I had right after playing the US Clock Tower and getting the crap scared clean out of me. |
