Trying to get some more questions up for this game because it seems to be the one with the least amount of topics. ^^;; So in Clock Tower Ghost Head/Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within on Scenario-3; the man who you thought was your father all along, Takashi/Allen, reveals to our heroine that she was never his daughter. But rather, that her real name is Rin/Lynn and is the biological daughter of the Ghost Head killer, Fushito Saidô/George Maxwell! I was wondering since that happens to be one of the biggest plot twists in this game, how shocked were you to learn this secret that Takashi/Allen had been hiding from his daughter? We would like to know! =D |

Unfortunately, I did not expected for Yû to be the daughter of Fushito. I had always thought that Takashi was her father, and all is happy and well in the Midôshima Family household. [Well, except Fujika, but she's always emo. *BRICKED* ] So when Takashi said, "I AM NOT YOUR FATHER, LOL!" to Yû, it did made me go, "WHAT?!" Then it all just fell into place with how Fujika was feeling toward me and Shô's malice toward his host's father. But yeah, call me lame for not noticing it sooner. ^^;; |

I neither shocked or felt like it was clichéd. It just didn't seem like a big shock to me since I figured theres more than meets the eye in Yu's background and it didnt seem like some horrible plot twist that some movies try and pull off. This actually fit like the final missing puzzle piece to the whole thing. So I have to say that I was amused by it. Funny how I still feel the same about like I did when I first played it at the age of 12. Heh. Funny to mention this, but I could picture a Star Wars version of Clock Tower: Ghosthead with Yu as Luke Skywalker and Fushito as Darth Vader. Yû Skywalker: "You killed my father!" Darth Saidô: "No Yû. I...AM...your father!" Yû Skywalker: "You're not my father. Thats impossible!" Han Gômoto: "WHO THE HELL!?!" Yû Skywalker & Darth Saidô: "..." Han Gômoto: "Oh sorry. Didn't mean to yell so loud." |

HAHA @ Star Wars CT2 Lowlz I actually thought of Star Wars too when I learned it. XD But instead of "I am your father" it's "I'm not your father" XD; But yeah . . wasn't expecting it at all. Wasn't expecting it so much that it kind of left me feeling confused. XD; I was like "Okay, so who's related to who now? WTF? . . . Ah well *continues to play*" XD |

Reading mako's comments make me think that Clock Tower GH/II is just The Maury Show cleverly disguised as a horror game. ^^;; |

Personally I had a feeling that the game was planning to follow that route once I had reached the third scenario and saw the revelations that began to unravel. Once it was revealed, I can't say I was shocked at all. Personally, I just rolled my eyes and sighed, getting Empire Strikes Back flashbacks. Not to say it would have been a bad twist but it could have been executed a lot better than it was. Kind of amusing though that RetroScissorman and I had very similar thoughts on the scene although mine didn't have Han Gomotou. :P |

What's-his-face-Alyssa's-fake-dad: Alyssa, this man, George Maxwell...he is your father! Who's your daddy now? *brick'd* Alyssa: ...does this mean I get to call you dad now? Maxwell: Of course it does...Lynn! *ruffles her hair* ... Essentially, that's how I felt about the whole thing. I thought that it was weird that what's-his-name was Alyssa's dad since he looked eighty or something and Alyssa was only, I forget, fourteen? Doesn't necessarily mean that it's not weird that some crazy axe murderer is her father, but still. |
