German CT-fans are being called here! ...People who don't speak German as their first language are welcome, too... as long as they have good German knowledges. I am attempting to translate the song "Little John from the Big Castle" to German. I'm almost done except some things, where I don't know fitting rhymes. Maybe someone can help me? Here's the song in English, as you know it: Little John from the big castle Plays with a little boy Snip, snip, snip, off goes his head Bright red, bright red Little John from the big castle Plays with a little girl Stab, stab, stab, she loses her sight Bright white, bright white Little John from the big castle Found another friend Slash, slash, slash, into his tummy Out it slides, red and runny Transliteration by: enigmaopoeia Lyrics by: HUMAN Entertainment This is, what I have done so far with the German translation: Kleiner John vom großen Schlosse Spielt mit einem kleinen Jungen. Schnapp, schnapp, schapp, der Kopf ging ab. Hell' rot, hell' rot. Kleiner John vom großen Schlosse Spielt mit einem kleinen Mädchen. Stich, stich, stich, sie verliert ihre Sicht. Hell' weiß, hell' weiß. Kleiner John vom großen Schlosse Fand 'nen neuen Freund. ...? From here, I have no idea how to go on. Can anyone help me? Any help is being appreciated and remember: The lyrics must rhyme. |
